This has been my local dive bar for over 8 years. Now under new ownership it's still my fav local bar! This place has been changing for the better (even though I love the old) every week! The atmosphere, patrons, bartenders and vibe are the best! When I get to come out for Mommy night out to play poker I feel safe here which is an awesome thing! A must visit for sure.
I love anchors aweigh! The drinks and atmosphere are amazing and Tina always provides excellent service! If you’re looking for a chill place to hang out, get a couple drinks, play some pool or darts and have a great time, Anchors is the place for you. So excited to see what is next for one of my favorite bars due to the new ownership!
Who comes to a true dive bar expecting some corporate bullcrap?! Bro...it's a dive bar with 5 star food! New owner! Quality takes a moment! Breaking down the wall to expand means cleaning out, removing debris and sanitizing the prior neighboring owner. Food is amazing! Bands are coming! Calm down and keep chugging!
This bar is a super chill dive bar with pool and darts available. The place is under new ownership and I really like where they are taking it. The bartenders are amazing and always attentive.
Staff is great, ownership is friendly, food is phenomenal! Firewater was a dingy little place that made anyone who wasn’t 100 years old feel unwelcome, this place has some newfound youth to it due to the constant improvements from the owner, John. Looking forward to the future.
New owner They're in the process to remodel the place , So far it's coming out really nice, You can tell they going on a good direction, and the new bartenders are amazing, I really enjoyed coming here after work, Especially after a long day for a late night drink before I get home, and For those who know me ya know how I like my drinks so take it from me i highly recommend that place day time or night stop by.
I love this authentic bar. Bartenders are super nice and the bar has its regulars. I recommend a bottled beer. They keep their beer ice cold. Park in the back there is plenty of parking. Parking out front is parellel parking when they are busy.
Friendly bartender, cozy atmosphere, good drinks, good price. Great neighborhood hangout. Awesome owner!
