I don’t usually right reveries, but though I should here. Upon arrival the cars are lined down the road to check in so we had to wait in traffic about 7 cars back. Then after arriving the lobby was full of people in line and people waiting to check in. They don’t offer digital check in for no reason, when I asked they just said that we needed to check in at the counter. The room was worn out, stained and ripped furniture, mildew in tub, old leak in ceiling, pills on the floor. Sliding glass door didn’t lock, mirror closet doors off track, a/c was set at 50° when we walked in and it felt hot the entire time we were their. The room felt dirty overall. Old and in need of an update. The lobby and the rest of the hotel were deceiving. If the lobby was in the same condition as the rooms I would walked out and never even checked in. Worst Hilton I’ve been too, and that is almost all that I ever stay at.
The bartender, Ms. Gladys is a true professional. Her familiarization with the menu and expert drink recommendation paired well with my dinner. The bar was very busy but she remained calm and flawlessly managed everyone's needs. Please train the other bartenders to equal her professionalism
Stayed here for an anniversary weekend. Check in was slow and our room wasn't ready at check-in. It wasn't available until after 5 (which was an hour after we arrived). The best next to check-in was awesome. Keya and Amanda we're awesome there as well as the live music there later in the evening. Our room was ok. The view was awesome from our oceanside room. Pelicans seemed to glide right past the balcony. The furniture (dresser and couch) needs to be updated. The tub in the bathroom needed to be recleaned (there was hair in the shower). The Doc Bales Grill on property was great. Our servers (Tina and Daniela) we're awesome. And Philip made us wonderful omelettes. Everyone was so inviting. And Things even remembered us and took the time to ask us about our previous day and give recommendations. Our dinner at Hyde Park was also great. All the employees signed an anniversary card for us and it was at our table surrounded by flower petals when we were seated. The food was good and we had a great view of the firework show, from the pier, from our seats. Check out went a lot smoother than check-in.
Great stay. Rooms were clean. Good location with easy access to the beach. We really enjoyed meeting and getting know Sertan our sever at Don Rico’s. He gave us great service and was great to talk to.
Bianca is amazing. Kind. Conversation. Service driven and clearly focused , she made my breakfast experience amazing. She’s a stellar representative of the Hilton brand and impeccable service standards all resorts should offer.
The staff was wonderful.. Preeti, Stacy(was so amazing and she helped me on my birthday), Keya(the bartender was a gem), and Gladys were amazing. The resort was beautiful and it was a nice place to do my photoshoot. The DJ that was by the Blind turtle was amazing, the food was great, my overall stay was great. I would come back again
We booked an oceanview room for our anniversary. Checkin went well, even though the hotel was a mad house with people. (Martial arts convention.) When we entered the room, we were stunned. Dirty windows, refrigerator on the floor in the corner, no sitting chair in the room. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though it was set low. The bathroom had black hair on the floor. We called the hotel operator, who said the hotel was booked, but she would be happy to give us $20 off. This is $20 off a $400 stay for the night. We said we weren't staying, and she said that was fine. We gathered up our luggage and called for a bellman. It took quite a while to leave because we had to get back in line at the check-in counters. The hotel is old, not updated in the least, the air conditioning is not functioning well, and it is a crime for the rates they charged us. We drove to The Shores Hotel and had one of the best stays we have ever had. I will write a review for The Shores.
Outstanding customer service from Preeh at the front desk! She welcomed us and wished my wife a Happy Birthday. Thank you Preeh. Suite was awesome overlooking Daytona from our Terrace. DJ at the pool rocked and the service personnel were very friendly and helpful.
Visited the bar at Don Rico’s and Nikki was the absolute best bartender. She was attentive, fast, and friendly. Could not have asked for a better bartender especially after having poor service at the pool bar.
BEWARE!!!! I read the reviews and it said go across street and eat but DONT. They have a guy working for the couple that bought it who bragged about towing old vets cars with handicap passes when they tried to tow mine!! If food is good the new owners are greedy or horrible humans to stoop so low.I'll never go. I was there running my grandkids food to beach so careful if u go anywhere before or after. They want your MONEY!! I had to give the guy what cash I had so he stopped ILLEGALLY towing it
