The pastries and the cappuccino were excellent. The environment was clean, bright and very friendly. The people working there made you feel very welcome. We will definitely be going back and bringing our friends.
Came looking for good pastries. Except for the Tiramasu it would be a solid pass on a return visit. .Pros;Excellent A+ Tiramasu and very good eclairs(B+)Cons;Napoleon were a C-. The pastry part was good, fake Bavarian cream ? (whipped cream tasted like it was mixed with Crisco). And what was up with the strawberries? Probably becuz there was no flavor to the rest.Cannoli looked like the kind you can get ANYWHERE. (B)
From the moment you walk in you’re taken back in time and memory to an old favorite Italian coffee and pastry shop.. Frank Sinatra playing in the background, the smell of freshly roasted coffee brewing… and the beautiful array of traditional Italian pastries! This is a must visit shop whether you’re a local or visiting the area for a bit. Everything is delicious! Service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is charming. Perfetto!
On Tuesday morning I came in to begin my birthday celebration and the young woman working treated me so special! She gave me a free birthday cannoli and played Happy Birthday in Italian for me!!!! She is so sweet and thoughtful!! Thank you for a great day!
Very nice and nostalgic Italian bakery and cafe. Server was friendly and selection was better than most places. It is becoming more difficult to find shops that make these kinds of desserts. The sfogliatelle were very good. Filling was not too sweet and the layered dough had some crunch. The large cannoli had a good filling, again not too sweet and was made with ricotta cheese. Unfortunately, the shell was soggy. If you order one, see if they will fill a fresh shell because the soggy shell takes away from the quality of the dessert. Our friends liked the tiramisu, but it did not have rum, or any detectable rum, which we are used to tasting.Coffee was good.Might go back when visiting Daytona and give this place another try. Also, the music was enjoyable and appropriate. Dean Martin, Sinatra and other Italian-American singers.
All I have to say is YUMM!! ?I have to let everybody know because this place is absolutely amazing. I went one time a few years ago when it was previous owners and it was a very bad experience and all their desserts and pastries sucked. Now the new owners completely have changed it..Super nice people! The desserts are out of this world. Definitely have to swing by there if your in Daytona Beach Shores area! ?
I walked a distance to get coffee, and arrived at 7:40 am on a cool day. There was a male in back who saw me and the door was still locked. When you advertise opening at 7:30 you need to honor that. You lost a sale and a customer after you ignored me.
Quite a surprise and it brought back nice memories of pastries that I was raised with. The girls and I enjoyed some delicious pastries and very good coffee.
Delicious coffee choices and amazing pastries!! Do yourself a favor, get your coffee and get some of these yummy treats to enjoy with it!
I had driven passed this location for years. I never noticed them before. I was looking for zeppole. They did not have any. This made me sad BUT I saw a lot of other desserts to try. I ended up choosing a slice of sea salt caramel cheesecake. WOW It is not too often that I am impressed by cheesecake. The texture was heavenly. The flavor was smooth. I am glad I got to try something I was not looking for. Nice people, good price.
