I had the Swordfish. It was rubbery and the rice tasted like it was old. Our waiter was great and ended up taking the Swordfish off our bill.
We always come here to celebrate our anniversary. Love the food, atmosphere and the wait staff always goes above and beyond.
Friends were in town and they had never dined at Stonewood, we suggested it and they absolutely loved the restaurant!
Everything was good as expected. The hostess in her night gown should not refer to people as âtake these twoâ. We have names.
Food was fantastic. Our table by the window was lovely. Will be back.
As usual the everything was excellent. We had Payton who was a gem....very attentive and efficient with a great smile and personality. Also got to say hi to manager John Wilson...as he was going by with his hands fill from helping to clear a table. ; ) Great guy and runs a great ship.

We had a reservation and arrived about 10 minutes early. The reception girls brushed us aside and asked us to wait. They were busy chatting with each other. When we finally got seated at a table, the hostess didnât give us any menus. After about 5 minutes, a waitress came by and asked us why we didnât have menus. She brought us some and then later brought something with the specials. I got the impression that she thought we just walked in and sat ourselves. She brought the drinks promptly but didnât take our order for another ten minutes. My husband requested Tuna Steak Medium well and received it medium rare. He wonât send anything back. My sirloin was overcooked. I asked for Medium and the first slice was medium, the rest was well done. My baked potato was delicious though. I requested steak sauce but never received it. We live nearby and have always had a good experience until this time. Quite the disappointment.
We celebrate birthday and anniversary for the other couple and letâs our waitress know. She didnât care. No greeting, no smile, need few times to requests to fill out our drinks. We loved to eat at Stonewood grill. Unfortunately this time the food quality, the menu, and the service was below the standards of this restaurant.
We have eaten at Stonewood several times and it has always been an excellent experience. From the seating to the service and the food, it has become the restaurant we go to for every special occasion.
