Ordered Salsbury Steak with mashed potatoes and asked that the potatoes be be served very hot with gravy. They were served not quite as hot as I had had hoped for. That being said...the were pretty warm. When I go out for dinner I expect that it will be served hot. They were just about there. We always enjoy Steve's ďiner. They are one of the most consistent places we eat. We love going there.
We just wanted a place to grab a light lunch and this was it! Everything was fresh. The homemade bread was so good that we bought a loaf to take home for dinner. Menu has a lot of options-something for everyone. Service was quick and efficient.
Good food, fast service, reasonable prices, what more can you ask for. Our fantastic waitress, CAROL H, took very good care of us. Very attenuative to our needs. During the course of our time there she must have come to the table a dozen times to make sure we had everything. Try to get that anywhere else today. All with a smile too. By the way did I say you start your meal with a cup of soup which comes with every meal. We will be back.
Totally blew me away. Is better than a 5 star restaurant. All home cooking. I had Pot roast, mashed potatoes green beans and a Coke. The owner owned it for over 34 years he passed away 14 years ago left the restaurant to his daughter. I said is she married. The Waitress says yes, to the chef. Just my luck.Lol
Great prices and lots of food! All food is homemade and very tasty. Even though it doesn't say it on the menu, you get a free loaf of bread with butter for the table and free soup with most meals. We ended up leaving with food on our plates because there was so much. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Food is good and the kitchen is quick but the actual customer service sucks, Carol is rude. Placed a order over the phone and she rushed me from the beginning then completely ignored me when I asked if I could get something else for a side besides what she listed, then in a condescending tone listed them again as if I didn’t hear it the first time. I arrived to pick my food up and when I finished signing her copy she asked me in a rude tone what I did with her pen, i told her I placed it with the receipt but maybe it fell on the floor. She rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I also eat here frequently and was surprised my total was so high ($15 for a biscuit and gravy combo with side of grits.) checked my receipt when I got home and my drink was $4, ridiculous for a small milk. I could’ve bought an entire gallon for less. I won’t be back due to rude customer service.
If you love the cozy diner experience, you'll love this place. The tables and booths are comfortable and the food is great ??. The bread basket is some of the softest bread too.
If you leave this place hungry, it's your own fault. Large portions of delicious food. They have a wide selection of meals at good prices. Friendly staff and a clean diner. We went for breakfast and it was great.
Our lunch was excellent! Fast, friendly service. Basket of bread delivered with our drink order. Cheeseburger with fries and country fried steak were our choices and both were great! Highly recommend.
