Out of the whole meal the only things good about the place were the mozzarella in my Mediterranean salad, the red wine and the portions.Nothing memorable about the dinner. I think they need a new chef.We go to an Italian restaurant here in Melbourne called The Dove which consistently serves fabulous food, Rossellini’s can take a lesson or 2 from the dove.It was also our anniversary dinner so the experience was anti climactic. Should’ve gone somewhere else. Oh well…
What an amazing find! Our waitress was awesome and attentive. Gave us ample time to look over the menu. Great choices on it as well as the specials. Had the lobster and portabella mushroom ravioli. Meal came out super fast, hot, and delicious. I read some sketchy reviews about this place, but honestly, I’m not sure they were reviewing the same restaurant.
I called the restaurant on and off for an hour after their opening and noone answers the phone to make a future reservation. They are not part of OpenTable
First it actually looked like an authentic Italian restaurant. Secondly the menu was fabulous. The food was delicious not a disappointment. Great wine, cocktail and beer selection. Fresh bread, entrees and homemade dessert. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
My son and I visited this restaurant tonight. Was driving down the road and saw a sign for "#1 Oysters" and immediately turned around and went there to eat (oyster lover here!) After what seemed like 10 minutes of no service, I walked to the bar and told the lady behind it that I was waiting for someone to come take my drink order. A waitress appeared and when I tell you she was not a fan of my son and I, I do not exaggerate. She was far from friendly. In fact, I ordered a $13 mixed drink that I didn't care for. When I asked to have a different drink bc I didn't like the taste of the one I was served, she got aggravated with me. I asked if I could have a chocolate martini instead of whatever the name of the drink choice I first picked was called. The answer was no. I asked 3 separate times, and the best she would do is add more cream to my drink I didn't care for to make it less strong. I felt very uncomfortable and at one point felt like I was apologizing for not liking how they made something.Let's talk about the reason I entered the restaurant - Advertisement of #1 oysters.. But, I didn't see them on the menu. I began second guessing myself if I got the restaurant mixed up with a different one. I asked the waitress about the oysters. Was informed they quit serving them at 7pm...ugh...I then asked the waitress for her suggestion between 2 seafood dishes. The one she chose, I got. Personally, I wasn't impressed, but everyone has their own tastes.Never once did the waitress ask how I liked my meal. Never once did I feel like she had any personality or customer service or hospitality. I work in sales myself and don't know how she has a job there. Although the service was not great, I still tipped $20 on, I believe, $60. No appreciation, no good bye when we left, nothing.First and last time customer.
Family went here on a visit to Daytona Beach. Food was OK. But the constant pounding & slamming of the doors was almost unbearable. I had a glass of house red wine that was ice cold and was undrinkable.
We ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, caprese, lemon drop martini, tropical martini, and the shrimp fettuccine in the white wine sauce. The house bread was good as well. The service can’t be beat, we wanted for nothing while we were there because they were so attentive. It’s clean and has a nice atmosphere. Presentation of food was great. No real issues with the place other than the food was just okay. Good but not amazing. We would still stop back in when in town again.
Authentic family recipes served with pride! Best pasta fagioli I’ve ever had.Lasagna is just classic, raviolis with shrimp was just another reason for a return visit ! We ate there three nights and each dinner was wonderful. Service was also always excellent. Love this restaurant ???
Had a nice experience, welcomed in by the bartender who was really pulling 3 jobs at once... and she had a fabulous attitude! Kudos to her! Food was good, but server (not the bartender), brought out our dishes, and she didn't know what entrée was what and she got them turned around. We started to eat them and realized they were reversed. Nice atmosphere and authentic Italian cuisine. Would have given 5 stars if server got our dishes correct and was familiar with them.
Great soup! Best pizza we can remember having . We were there last night in height of bike week. Going back tonight for lasagna!
