This was recommended as the best sushi in the area by one of the staff at the local seafood market we shop in regularly. We had previously tried several sushi restaurants and decided to go to Ronin the next time that was our desire. We enjoyed our meal and the service very much. The sushi was as good as any we have ever had - the servings were not small and were very fresh. We really enjoyed the tuna tataki, tempura soft shell crab, and the tempura banana desert. We will go back often and sample other items from the menu as we saw fried rice with shrimp and kobe beef sliders being enjoyed around us.
The owner and family are excellent, they was closing and they don’t care give the extra mile in service to us, we arrive and this guys letUs order the food without any complaint or bad attitude he brought tables chairs to let us eat and relax; they are amazing and the food very good highly recommended
This is a place that anytime I am close I am stopping to eat. The sushi is great, the staff friendly and helpful. I always look forward to eating here.
This was only my 2nd time dining in at Ronin but we also ordered from a 3rd party delivery service once, too. The host was very professional and he truly disinfected the table before seating us. Our server, Bella made the dining experience more fun. She really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the food, knew what we were ordering, prompt on refills and made great recommendations. We got two orders of the potstickers, one fried, one steamed. They’re our favorite menu item! Definitely go with fried if you have to choose one. We also got the spider roll and deux shrimp. They were both good, but deux shrimp was another level of deliciousness. Bella also brought some spicy mayo and potsticker sauce for us to dip with. My date and I shared a hot green tea and unsweetened iced tea. The sushi takes a really long time but the gyoza/dumplings/potstickers are very quick. Keep that in mind and order your appetizer right away, followed by your sushi order promptly. It’s worth the wait!!
Well we tried to visit, found it, it said it was open, drove 20 minutes, just to find out it was not in fact open….
Get away from the beach and find this gem the locals go to. Excellent and different sushi dishes. Great service. Excellent all the way around. Parking lot and street parking, too. Don’t miss it!
Tropical nachos are a joke. We waited a good 20 min for those and a burger and cassava fries. We didn’t get the fries and walked back to get our money back. The nachos were literally cold chips, some cheese sprinkles and a few pickles scattered here and there. No sauce, just dry chips. Not worth $8!!! Pretty upset. Burger was decent but not worth 14.50. Will never go back. /:(
We are not sushi experts by any stretch...but this may be the best sushi I have ever consumed ... Our server, Chloe, was amazing and had great recommendations. Nice atmosphere...big thumbs up!
We were driving down from a St Augustine trip and started googling places to eat along the way back home. Pikaro’s Food Truck popped up and had great reviews and photos so we decided to eat there. Friendly service and DELICIOUS food! We ordered the “Godfather” and upgraded to Curly Fries! Absolutely delicious! The burger had a very savory and smoky flavor and the fries were perfect. I recommend stopping by and trying this food truck! ??
