Gluten free crust is awesome here! The place is very quiet, very hole in the wall experience.Only reason I took away 2 stars is I had asked for chicken, not knowing the place uses breaded chicken.Having not eaten yet and being 3pm in the afternoon, I just dove right into chomping down my food. After eating one half of a 12" pie, I realized the chicken wasn't grilled.I'll be paying for it later, but oh man the food is good!

I enjoy most of their food. Pizza is usually on point. Consistency is important however, so I will order in a bind onlyI was really turned off by this place when I ordered a dessert for $2.25 for our child, only to find out it's no longer offered, even on the days it's supposedly only available, and they refunded $2.00. So, though petty, it's worth mentioning that I paid $.25 plus tax for an item I shouldn't have been able to order and certainly didn't receive. (It's still on the menu by the way)Out of the 5 times I've ordered a 2 liter of soda, they've delivered the wrong soda twice and two of the other times they had to run back for it because they forgot it. So the attention to detail is severely lacking.Today's pizza would have been on point if 50% of the pepperonis wasn't on 1 slice... That's another turn off.The food is 5 stars when they get it right, the lack of detail and service takes my review down to a 3, plain and simple. I hope these reviews are used to improve in the areas described.

If you have ever had NY pizza, or have appreciated good pizza, you will thank me for leading you this way.... Your welcome (mic drop)

They have the BEST stuffed shells and meatballs I’ve ever had! Very NY authentic pizza as well. Owner is from NY and you can tell. Highly recommend this place.

I've been going to Pete's for years, most recently 2/12/22 and I gotta say it is the best pizza I've had in Florida. Over the years everyone I have brought there say the same thing, amazing pizza! Keep doing what you are doing Pete's, your pizza is the bomb!!!

I am Mariah Sweetland and I must say that this Pizzeria is probably the best thing I've discovered in Daytona beach since I moved here in July. I am originally from N.Y. where I worked for 3 different pizzerias over the years. This being said, I look for specific details. I can tell that the ingredients they use are very fresh as well as quality ingredients. So far I have tried the eggplant Parm hero which I ordered on a couple of occasions, and I have had the Sicilian pizza, the regular pizza and the cannoli. Everything I've tried so far I've been more than pleased with the taste, freshness, quality ingredients, presentation and delivery. Last night I had a 14' make your own pizza.. traditional style, half sausage. I was praying when I ordered it that I would like the sausage because I hate when those cheap places use that ' fake' sausage. It was VERY delicious and THAT alone made my whole night. The dough is very fresh and tasty...it was the perfect thickness which was thin but not limp, soft but not undercooked, and the crust was crisp but not hard or burned. I ordered online at around 6:15 on Friday. The delivery man was at my door in about 30 minutes. I live pretty close. It arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. I had a cannoli which is another favorite of mine because their cannoli shells are very light and crispy which is hard to find. I can't find any fault with this place. I would love to see them add a chicken franchise and/or veal marsala to the menu. If they don't, however, I won't complain because the food that IS on the menu is spectacular. I believe in 'go with what you know' rather than 'fake it till you make it'. Order from here if you like good italian food! Bon appetit!

Called for delivery and waited two hours for two pizzas that got here cold and hard. Used to eat Pete's with my grandparents growing up and was very excited to have Pete's for dinner, should have just ordered pizza hut or something.

First time writing a bad review of any place ever. This probably won't do anyone any good but since they literally turned phones off (hours before closing) I feel like this is the only way I can communicate the unbelievable lack of professionalism and basic customer service. We ordered 2 pizzas, pasta, a sandwich, and a salad at 505pm. The man on the phone acted like I was bothering him and seemingly couldn't comprehend simple order or address.. but that's not even why I'm writing this. We were told it would be here by or before 630 pm. Around 645, we called...and called...and called. No answer. So at 715, we drove there ourselves to see what was going on. We politely asked. They said all the delivery orders went out over an hour before we arrived and that they had no idea when each order would be dropped off. They also said they turned the phones off because they couldn't take any more orders. So...our order, if it even gets to us, is going to be hours old? And you don't answer the phone bc you're busy? What if people have questions? How about just answer and say you aren't taking any more order for the night. So here it is, almost 8pm, and we STILL don't have out food. Judging by the general attitude and lack of service, yall obviously couldn't care less. Look, I know it's just a pizza place and not life or death, but you have a responsibility to fulfill a service, especially when YOU ALREADY GOT PAID FOR IT. Pizza DELIVERY implies that pizza will actually be DELIVERED. I am super understanding of things coming up, it happens, but there is no excuse for what is happening here. Keeping your paying customers in the dark and not at all trying to fix the situation just ain't right.

maybe i came here on a bad day but the calzone was terrible. no flavor, the crust didn’t have any butter, oil, or seasoning just dry and flavorless. i spent $22 for nothing i threw them both away
