Ordered 2 foot long subs. Was sent 2 6inch subs of completely kinds then what we ordered. Called the store to report wrong order being sent to us and was told they cannot do anything about it nor would refund the money. If you idiots made a mistake then you are responsible for it you don't tell the customer to bad. We submitted for a refund through the delivery app anyways and filed fraud charges to the bank against this stores employees. In the future consider manager employees who aren't going to rip off customers?
Not sure what’s been going on lately, I used to come in here more often and never had an issue paying more for the quality as it’s always been a very good sandwich shop, however now the last few times I’ve been in, I’ve been met by what may be new employees which isn’t an issue in itself, however when it comes to making the food the quality has been very very low compared to the past, while the manager or owner seems to just frustratingly watch and bark orders at the employees who are fumbling to make the food. I know staffing has been an issue for many businesses, I just wish it wasn’t such a crapshoot. Hopefully I can change this review in the near future to a higher rating that they deserve, but for the past month and a half at least it’s only been negative experiences.
We order from here often. But lately we have had to take off the top bread to enjoy the sandwich. The bread is so stale now. The portion size have also diminished. If we are paying more for ingredients we’d like more than six pieces on our subs. This has been a go to spot and we have never been disappointed until recently. An upset lately for sure!
Ordered several sandwich’s tonight. The young man working was trying his hardest. The girl on the other hand was a complete rude and nasty child. The sandwiches were not hot. The portion was completely a waste. And the quality of food was junk. How this place stays in business is mind blowing. Can’t believe I would rather go to subway then ever come back to this dump. Mushrooms were not cooked the onions oh wait they didn’t put them on it. And the ice tea tasted like oh wait it was just water. Would never recommend or advise anyone to go near this place. Larry’s you are a dump and need some quality help. Thanks
Great place, next to Publix which has good Boar’s head subs but Larry’s subs are stuffed with good meat and are more filling for a long shift at work, I also like their bread more. The Italian subs are especially good like the “Italian Big One”. I always chat with one of the managers who I assume is the owner and he’s always very nice to interact with, and seems to go out of his way to be friendly and make connections with other customers.The other employees are nice too though. Overall Larry’s is a good sub spot and has a friendly atmosphere!
Visited because I used to eat at the Ormond location often. This was not it. Asked for pickle spears, a side of sauce, received neither. I’m not sure if I paid for the sauce because I wasn’t given a receipt. Toppings were just sad.
My son's sandwich was good but the Chicago Italian beef was not good. It was a french dip with hot giardinara. Just because there's hot giardinara on it doesn't make it a true Chicago beef. That's not Chicago style. Very bland. I don't recommend it. And this is coming from a Chicago gal.
Holy s***. Tried them today after seeing so many positive reviews, and I completely get why this place is so loved. The cashier was kind and gave me recommendations as a first timer. Ordered a New York sub and this THE tastiest thing I have eaten in a long time. Don't ponder any further, give them a try—you won't regret it.
Used to go here pretty often. Tonight ruined it for me. Ordered a custom sandwich, Tuna, EXTRA onions, cucumbers, lettuce and pepper jack. I asked for the tuna to be toasted too. There must have been some sort of miscommunication because I didn't get a sub roll, I got toast instead, there weren't any onions on it despite asking for extra, the tuna wasn't toasted with the bread, and I ended up waiting 20 minutes for something that I could have made better at home.
Though it was a long line and took a little bit to get our food...it was one bite in that we knew why. Oh my goodness!!! My taste buds will be thankful always. Yummy ? to my tummy! Even offered gluten free....which was delish btw.
