We were craving jerk chicken and wow! So good. The jerk Mac and cheese was super tasty as well.Hope you enjoy spice, because this will give it to you. Wish we were local so we could keep coming back.
Was looking for some Jamaican food on vacation and this did not disappoint! I got the oxtail with cornbread and plantain, and my friend got the curry goat with mac and cheese and cabbage. Flavors were spot on! I will come back here!
We ordered the jerk pork, oxtail, curry shrimp, and curry goat. Sides included rice and peas, cabbage, mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everything was delicious and well seasoned! Miss Jackie was so sweet!
Wow! Jackie's Jamaican Pot food is delicious, I ordered the Stewed Chicken over rice, with Mac.n.Cheese and Cabbage. Everything was fresh and hot, seasoned well lightly. Jackie's Jamaican Pot also has Lunch special Mon-Sat ends at 3pm. Thanks again Ms. Jackie Jamaican Pot.
This meal was cook to order so it was a bit of a wait. I just want to say the shrimp was worth the wait. Absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the cornbread. The Mac and cheese was good. I bought the medium and my husband bought the large. Originally I came here for the breakfast menu but it’s no longer available for anyone interested. The menu changes a bit on a day to day basis. I want to thank the owner for taking her time to cook the breakfast item for my daughter. I appreciate it!
Great Jamaican food. Huge portions. Good price
We were just driving through town on I-95 and decided to stop for dinner when we found Jackie’s on Google maps. We decided to take a chance and get something different than drive-through. The food was delicious and was a good value. I ordered the Snapper with Rice and Peas (beans), Cabbage, Mac and Cheese, and an order corn bread. I repeat, Delicious. My wife got the Fried Chicken and fries with the house special hot sauce blend; they were great as well. Our next time in town we will be back for the jerk (it was sold out at the time) and curry. To add : Jackie was a blessing to meet and be served by. She showed a kind and loving spirit to all who came in to the restaurant while we were there.
the best Jamaican food in all of Daytona. Trust me, I've been to the other 4 and they can't compete. She cooks with love and you can taste it. Her rice doesn't even need sauce! The Mac and cheese tastes like Thanksgiving Mac and cheese from my deceased grandmother, God bless her soul. I don't eat red meat but when this lady cooks it, I put aside my ethical viewpoint and devour that meal! I nearly shed a tear when I ate this jersey shrimp dish the first time and actually assaulted someone for reaching for my plate, God bless his soul. I don't know what took over me. The food is extraordinary. I have driven from Jacksonville on multiple occasions JUST TO GET This food to only turn around and go back home and drive 2 hours. This is not a paid advertisement. This is me being so moved by good Jamaican food which can be hard to find. My life's trajectory has improved since coming across this restaurant. My moods are improved and I swear I make more money at work the whole week when I eat this. If this woman needed an organ transplant, I would give it to her in exchange for her cooking. Think I'm exaggerating? Go over there and find out!!
Great spot for lunch. Fast Service and good portions. We had the Curry Chicken, Jerk Chicken, and Brown Pork. The Mac and Cheese, corn bread, and cabbage were all good. Definitely will come back when we are in Daytona area.
I tried the Jerk Pork and it was very tasty. Chose cornbread (sweet how I like it) and Mac n' cheese(perfect) as my sides. Comes with rice and peas as well. Full of flavor. Huge portion. I did order the large size. Very friendly owner as well. Will be back soon.
