Bad timing, in between shifts. Quick service once seated by a personable waitress Amy at the Daytona restaurant. Food was hot and delicious!! Miss that the Harvest Nut and Grain pancakes are no longer on the menu!
This IHOP always has great service! The wait time was minimal, despite the crowd, and the waitress was friendly and accommodating! I have allergies so l asked a few questions about different meals, and she was willing to make sure there would be no issues. The meal was prepared quickly, the order was correct, and the food was delicious! I just wish the serving of blueberries had been bigger. ?
It was horrible. I understand that what these restaurants have access to has changed, but the quality of what came out of this kitchen today it this location was not it. If the wait staff is not going to clean then the Manager needs to clean and disinfect. The screens in between the booths and the windows next to booths.....ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Worse $40 spent ever. Our 6 year old daughter has been asking to go to IHOP for three days, well, now she does not care to ever return.
So my coworkers and I went in her lastnight after work and off too we sat in the front for almost twenty minutes before anyone even came out to seat us, then to start off, the service was super slow, server was inattentive and I went almost 15 minutes without getting a refill or even asked if I needed one. Finally get food ordered and brought out and my steak and eggs are both half cooked, steak was literally purple inside. So I had to go to the kitchen to even get a servers attention I request another steak and proceed to listen to them having a screaming match in the back about whether or not they’re going to make me a new steak. Finally get the new steak and the server comes out and slides it on the table with an attitude. Can’t speak for the day shift but I don’t recommend going their first a late night bite at all
Ok so after I get here I read the reviews and ya'll did not have anything good to say really. Which honestly made me nervous to even go in. But since I was already here... Not sure who took care of ya but I had Miss Nancy as my server and Christian as my cook at 2:30 am and they kicked a$$. My food was hot and cooked to perfection. Coffee was made fresh per my request. Service was exceptional and she was non stop cleaning in-between taking care of me and others.All in all. I'd come back hoping for the exact same as I got today. Thank you!!! ?
I don't like giving bad reviews, but this is deserved.I've been to this IHOP before, and their food is decent, on par with any other IHOP.The most recent time, I went with one other person, and we waited for ten minutes and no one came to seat us. One employee briefly told us that someone would be with us in just a moment. If they were busy, or if it were late, or there was only one waiter, of course this would be fair. But there were at least four waiters, probably 80-90% of the tables were empty, and it was the middle of the day. We ended up leaving and eating at a nearby place.This is not a one time incidence, hence the bad review.
Excellent staff! The restaurant was very busy but with great management we were seated almost immediately and served quickly by an amazing crew. I only wish I had gotten our waiters name! His serving and table side manner was exceptional.
We walked into this IHOP and waited several minutes before we were noticed. The waitress said that she would be with us in a minute. We waited a good 10 + minutes. Upon asking how long before we were seated she said the next waiter clocks in at 10. So we were going to have to wait 6 more minutes. A family of 6-8 and a couple plus our group of 6 walked out and went elsewhere.
The service is the only reason I could even give this one star. The waitress was as sweet as could be, but the food had to be the worst I've ever had. Ordered two turkey sandwiches with fries, nothing complicated. Sandwiches were served with no mayo, cheese, lettuce or tomato, on soggy bread. Ketchup bottle was almost empty and fries were like warm. Thankful never to go back!
A very pleasant experience due to some good companionship with friends. We had a good time despite the staffs best efforts. The main reason for the one star review is due to a lack of nutrients being presented to us, rather, even made out to be an option. It seems the only requirement to be employed by this establishment is a pulse that is above 43 BPM. A special shout out to Aubrey Plaza at the host station for making sure there was no lack of comedy being shared with the flock of people waiting to be seated in a half empty restaurant.
