What a find! A gem of a place in Daytona! Doesn't look much from outside but the food and service were incredible. Our server (Ken) was really friendly and happy to recommend dishes too. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food. We had pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken and it was easily some of the best bbq we've ever had. Totally recommend to anyone in the area :)
Haven’t been here in many years, used to come out for the Daytona 500 growing up and always ate here with my grandfather. It has only gotten better over the years! Rachel G. Was our waitress and she was absolutely phenomenal, funny and kind! Compliments to the chef and everyone there, we will be returning this week before we leave ! 5/5!!
Dinner was amazing! Everything tasted so good and Cathy was absolutely wonderful. We'll be back again soon!!!
Awesome food, loved the okra
While I would like to review the food, my experience walking in was nothing short of horrible. Upon walking in, Erin the hostess promptly informed us that she would refuse to seat us until our entire part of 5 was present. 4 people were here and one was out on the phone, for full transparency, we were fine with this policy and ok with waiting but she wished to seat us and then our plus 1 separately. Upon entering, our plus 1 to the 4 seating wished to squish in the booth with us, at which time - the waitress for our section asked us if we were comfortable or if we would like to move to a vacant table in our area. Upon being informed that it would be alright to move by our waitress, we gladly moved for more elbow room. However upon moving - the hostess decided it was her duty to come to our table and yell for 10 minutes about this move. We explained that we were gracious for the opportunity from the server, however if it inconvenienced her we could move back to our vacant table in the lobby during her “rush hour”. Now full off of being berated, - I would like to caution others against dining here. Two stars only for the actual waitress who was assisting us during this whole ordeal.
The atmosphere and food were both amazing! Cathy was our waitress and was phenomenal. She made us feel like family! 10/10 recommend, would come back and specifically ask to be in Cathy's section! ?
Service was great from Cathy, sauces, especially sweet and smokey ones were great. Pulled pork was yummy as well as the sloppy hog. Overall great visit.
Excellent food and quality server. Sherlya super host, kind and great communication. The place is across the street from the beach.
We were here for a gymnastics competition and across from our Hotel, The Hilton was Hog Heaven It was amazing!!! Cathy our waitress was the sweetest ever!!! I felt like she was one of family members, so welcoming and genuine. Thank you so much Cathy for a fantastic experience and an amazing dinner. Happy Nickey
