Nothing is perfect, but Henry's is very close. It's by far one of the best non traditional pizzas I've had, and top three in Daytona beach, I've tried them all. Do yourself a favor and try the empanadas... So good! The folks that run the place are very friendly and the food was ready in no time. Stop in and support this local family owned spot won't be disappointed.
Absolutely fantastic. From the service to the food. There is NOT a negative thing to say about this restaurant. The owner is SO kind and his niece who waited on us this evening was so sweet and helpful. They were honest about the possibility of a wait for the food because of call in orders. Honestly, we didn’t even wait that long and I would have waited even longer for such amazing food. You can tell the quality is their main goal. This is the BEST PIZZA around!! Highly recommend!!!!
Ahh! Surprisingly amazing food. Came here with the family after a beach day; craving pizza we found this place thanks to its high Google rating. They have a few parking spaces in the back, and the place itself is charmingly full of character. Everything was well cooked and served HOT and fresh out of the oven. We got a few apps - mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, hot wings and a veggie pizza. The blue cheese topping wasn't for everyone but it complimented the veggie pizza better than I was expecting - providing a unique flavour twist. Unfortunately the hot wings and jalapeno poppers weren't spicy at all but both were cooked to perfection (which is a rare occasion with wings!) so I can't complain. The only complaint I really have is that the tap water tasted bleh (I swear I'm not picky, and drink tap water all the time), it ruined the taste of mixed drinks like my sweet tea and regular water for others. A dedicated water filter system of sorts for drinks wouldn't be a bad idea. All in all, it feels great to support a family run business where the food is amazing; the owner / chef even came out after we were done eating to ask us if everything was ok. I will definitely be back!
Get?in?my?belly! This place really exceeded all of my expectations. I went with my brother and a friend of ours to get a good grub before we could leave Daytona. The pizza left us satisfied in the best way possible with it. The presentation was basically a work of art and the taste was even better. This is another foodie approved spot I’m leaving in my book 4 and 5 star places.
The pizza here is amazing. Came here for vacation and there isn’t any pizza like this in Georgia. My husband even said that the pizza here is better than the ones in my hometown in Wisconsin. I don’t care for drinks but we wanted to try the watermelon mojito. It was so delicious, he was wondering if we should order another one. The waiter/bartender were amazing and if we weren’t trying to go to different food places. I would go back before I go back home. Thank you ladies for amazing first dinner at Daytona!
The reviews here are true. Being from Chicago, you expect a lot from a pizza place. They did well here, very well. This is a true mom/pop place of Argentina immigrants. Henry ran the front and his wife ran the back. Fresh ice cold glass with EACH beer. Got to stop here.
whatever you do, DON'T pass this place up. ABSOLUTELY the best pizza I've had in a long time! We got the Fugazza and our friends got the buffalo pizza. Both were not greasy, cheese tasted so real & it came out hot. Prices average, restaurant clean.The young waiter with the accent & pierced ears was absolutely a gem. He was so friendly, prompt & accommodating.We DEFINITELY recommend & will be backSO GOOD !!
My family and I were just in Daytona Beach and of course whenever we’re on vacation it’s nice to have a night of local pizza for dinner. After spending 30 minutes googling, reading reviews and looking at food pics from several places, we settled on Henry’s. They had about 130 or so reviews. What sold us were the reviews coupled with the pics of the pizzas…they looked so flavorful and not overly saucey compared to others restaurant food pics. Henry’s did not disappoint!! The pizza was soooo good, flavorful (very flavorful), and the crust had the perfect thickness and crunch (not too thin and crispy and not too big and doughy). What was odd was we didn’t smell the food cooking as we were waiting…not much pizza aroma floating around, but once we took our first bite….it was deeelish! Yummy…a must try!
AhhhMazing! Very unassuming restaurant that would be easy to miss, a true "hole in the wall". We will be back for sure! Very friendly family owned business
We ordered takeout but went to pick it up. Very interesting and eclectic atmosphere. Cool and sort of Bohemian with the color, art and decorations. The bartender was friendly and conversational and made my wait for the pizza enjoyable. We got pepperoni pizza and the Big Mac, Mac and cheese with bacon. Both pizzas were very good and we will visit there again next time we’re in Daytona.
