I agree with one of the previous reviews describing this place as a little "sketchy", but the service was really nice and the pizza was great! Fantastic crust! The Area 51 picqued my interest because the combination of ingredients isn't a common one I typically see at pizza places. (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy sausage, jalapeno, ham, pineapple, pesto drizzle, and fried onion straws). I'm not sure if they were out or just forgot, but our pizza didn't come with any pineapple on it. I didn't bother mentioning it to anyone, because I figured pineapple would be better baked on the pizza rather than on the side. The sweetness would've been a nice touch. A 12" was perfect for splitting between 2 of us. They have bottled Mexican Coke, rather than fountain style with refills, heads-up. Other than that, sitting at the bar will feel warm from the pizza oven and to-go orders are very popular here.
VEGAN! since Google doesn't allow that option to identify the place, I'd thought I'd say it here. Evolve next door will coordinate a pizza in addition to the regular vegan dishes they serve.
We had wings there twice this past week and pizza and we are going back tonight. Alexa, Joey, and Devon were awesome. And everything was fantastic can’t get better smoked wings anywhere.
This place is a definite MUST-GO if you love great oven roasted pizza and a place that adds its twist to sauces!! The food is all made fresh, and you can clearly see and watch your pizza being made! The garlic bread they have is great! The wings here are also oven roasted, although you get dipping sauces as to having your wings covered, which I sometimes prefer. Atmosphere is not bad, felt like a pretty chill area. Definitely will be visiting this place every time I visit Daytona!
Ordered online for a pickup. The order never reached and wasn't processed.There was just one customer order in front of me, with about 4 pizzas. It took close to 45 min to get my order of two pizzas in my hands while I waited there for the only cook to complete each pizza one after one. It's simply amazing to see how someone can be so unhappy and still work and serve others. Wasn't sure how my pizzas are going to find out, if they do at all.All my worries are vanished with the taste of wonderful pizzas here. The dough was fantastic, well made and really tasty. The toppings are as expected, and the wood fire roasted ? taste is really ? awesome ?.If it's not for the taste and quality of the pizza, I wouldn't give this place anything more than two ??. The place has very good ambience, casualness, and great ❤️ heart ? to it. Definitely worth a visit and check out their Vegan Pizzas. ? ? ?
First time here and the food was really great! Large selection of pizzas and wings that tasted amazing from the wood fire.We finished with the cinnamon pretzels and OMG they were soooo good with the honey butter!
Without a doubt the best pizza in Daytona! The Area 51 is a must try! Everything about this place is amazing. From the drinks to the atmosphere I wouldn’t change a thing!
True artisans prepared our pie tonight! After a long day's travel, the waitress and cooks of this restaurant hailed my wife and I indoors to the best pizza we've had in a very long time. Wood fired, none of that manufactured conveyor belt baloney. Visit, order, enjoy!
It is definitely a laid back restaurant. As soon as you walk in you notice the wood oven. Pizza was excellent and service was great. For a small pizza place and quick bite and brew they also have smoked wings which I wished I tried
