Amazing good with great service. I had the jumbo shrimp w/ potatoes, corn on the cob and sausage. My husband had the wings w/ fries and an order of corn fritters. I also ordered a side of coleslaw that I could have eaten my weight in. Off the chain amazing.
This is the best seafood experience I've had since I've been coming to Daytona. The taste. seasoning, and size of the crab was on point. The shrimp, potatoes and corn were ?. I'm a seafood lover and a good judge of cuisines. They got a winner here. Recommended for anyone looking for outstanding seafood boil...
When we travel one of our goals is to eat at place that 1 we don't have back home and 2 that is not part of a chain. This place fits both criteria! The fried shrimp had a super light coating and were fried perfectly. The Snow Pack Snack we the huge surprise, 1 cluster of snow crab, boiled shrimp, potatoes, sausage and an egg (which I didn't understand but was still good) all swimming in their seasoning which is so good that we purchased 2 containers. This place is a hidden, from the visiting public, jewel that we will be going back to before we leave.
First time to visit Crab Stop ll and we were not disappointed. Service by NOBIE was perfection. We had lots of questions and She knew her stuff. Very friendly, attentive and professional. The food ya'll... the food was wonderful!!! The price was unbelievable- super value! You must get the corn fritters! Well definitely make this a regular stop on my yearly trip to Florida.
Friendly service, low key dining experience. Oysters were huge and delicious. Service was a little slow and it seemed like takeout was slowing it down. We had crab cakes and their house seafood rice. The rice dish has a Cajun jambalaya feel to it, so be prepared for that. The crab cakes were cooked well, a little thin with the grilled ones but flavorful!Overall good experience. Next time we will get the wings- it seemed like most tables had them so they must be popular!
I love my black owned businesses I promise I do. The food alone is 5 star. I am a regular customer however the server we had was not ready to be at work. She didn’t offer our corn fritters, never checked on our table, and we had to ask another server for a to go box and refills. I asked her (the server)for a refill and she had an attitude when I asked for a refill. If I was never a server I wouldnt have gave her a tip at all however with my previous experience, I gave her the 10% even though I normally tip a lot more. The servers are what makes the experience and even though the food was great the experience is lacking.
Food was amazing. Service was great. You could tell that the employees were working extremely hard, especially on Mother’s Day. Loved the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. It was a great experience.
Came here after our original dinner plans got cancelled and it did not disappoint! There’s nothing like Maryland crabs and this place has their formula down to a science. Garlic butter. We had the hush puppies, crab cakes, and a platter to share. When our platter first arrived (4 of us sharing), we were worried it wasn’t enough! How wrong we were…perfect amount of food for us. Cant wait to come back. Also our server was so sweet. Thank you!!
This was not the first choice of our local relatives but we ended up here when there was no parking at their preferred location.Short staffed, as is everywhere else, but servers hustled and kept the drink (perfect sweet tea) refills coming. We ordered Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque but Chowder turned out to be a little bitey, so husband and I swapped.Husband's seafood bowl contained 4 clusters of snow crab, 12 shrimp, 2 corn cobbette, and a slew of garlic/Old Bay coated red skinned potatoes lined the bottom of the bowl. I ordered onion rings and fried clams with potatoes. The onion rings were not delivered until after we finished eating, but kitchen was swamped with a full restaurant and busy takeout orders.Relatives ordered tilapia and fried clams as well as complimentary corn bread nuggets covered in powdered sugar. We took our clams, onion rings, potatoes, and a crab cluster along in boxes and enjoyed them for our next two meals.Including decent tip, tab came to $150, we know seafood prices are high right now, but we got a total of 8 meals out of all that food. After I posted pictures on FB from other local tourist attractions, another friend insisted we stop at this place. I responded that we already had and loved it.
Food was good and portions were huge. The place could use a little TLC,but don't let the appearance scare you off lol. Would definitely eat here again.
