Best Jamaican food in Daytona Beach! Curry goat with macaroni and cheese with sweet plantains and rice and beans. Goat soup was also delicious with lots of goat meat.
The Restaurant was very clean. The food was cooked and seasoned well. The food portions were very satisfying. You could share the Lunch platter with someone or have it for Lunch tomorrow. I will visit this Cool Running Restaurant again.!!!!!!
The good: The beef patty. Pretty good flavor of the curry chicken.The bad: Seemingly 1/3rd the weight of the chicken curry was bone and, much worse, tons of tiny bone shards were throughout so pretty much every bite required spitting out bones and rice. Great flavor might've made it worth this.
Soups are always 10/10 no matter the day of the week. I am very disappointed with the foods presentation, I ordered and went to pick up, they pour gravey all over my rice and peas, it was so disgusting I couldn't eat it- not everybody like gravy all over their food- it would be nice to ask the customer b4 doing so!
I thought the food tasted funny the first time but figured I give it another try. The rice and peas with curry chicken tasted like it was left over food from the day before, that was heated up. I don’t mind supporting small business but the quality of the food is subpar. Please do better. You can’t give people stale food!
RIP-OFF ALERT - I placed two orders without any rice and/or other sides. I ordered a medium jerk chicken and a small beef stew. I had to wait a bit which is fine. When I went to pay I was questioning the prices. One small and one medium YETBoth items $11.95 without any other sides. I understand meat is the most of the cost but $11.99 for a small beef stew with no sides is a RIP-OFF.

The food was very delicious and the price was reasonable. I normally don’t eat curry goat when I ordered out for some strange reason, which I won’t go into details. However, this was very good. I ordered a small and couldn’t finish.
Had the Oxtail, rice and peas, then added curry goat, Mac and cheese and fried dumplings. OMG I felt like I was back home in Jamaica. The food was soooo good that I bought more for lunch the next day.
They honestly deserve no stars this plate alone cost $27.00 mind you I only have one side the oxtails are hard and they give more gravy than they do rice and food alone . The food is not worth the money at all and the customer service sucks I recommend eating Burger King before coming here !
