I’m local, I eat here all the time. Never had an issue other than a forgotten sauce or two.As someone who has lived all over the country it definitely has that northeastern American Chinese food style. At some point over the last year, yeah the owners changed. It’s not quite as good, but it’s still more than good enough to satisfy my craving for egg rolls, general Tso’s and lo mein. There is a super industrious kid who answers the phone and processes payments sometimes. He’s great and no small business owner is gonna lose points with me for teaching their kid some skills. For the record: the kid has never messed up any of my credit card payments or my order.
Great food! Real New York style that is hard to find in Florida! I recommend! A plus is the two adorable and well behaved children to talk to while you wait❤
We gave them 3 shots and just can’t give them a 4th. The chicken is so over breaded it’s barely edible, but this last time my sweet and sour chicken was missing the sauce somehow (see photo). I did give two stars because they’re fast and the egg drop soup has been consistently decent.
Ated there twice as still no peanut sauce n that's not spring rolls, but thin egg rollsWasted too much foods as only give me 5 shimps?? Worst place to eat..
It pains me to write a less than stellar review on what WAS my favorite restaurant in the Daytona area. When returning after summers away it was ALWAYS my 1st stop. For the past 6 years I've enjoyed the fast friendly service and consistent food provided by the couple that were always in the store. That consistency is now gone as the place changed hands sometime last summer while I was away. The service is still fast and friendly but depending on who's cooking you never know what you'll get. I frequently order Hunan dishes that were formerly always lightly spiced. Recently I've received dishes that ranged from bland and flavorless to so hot and spicy they were inedible. The only good news I can share is they no longer serve carry out in leaking styrofoam containers but now use resealable and reusable containers that are handy. Some of the pictures showing a buffet and salad bar are obviously from somewhere else, it appears from a defunct Chinese buffet near Nova Rd and Granada. This place has counter service and a half dozen small tables for waiting or dine in.Edit:An addendum... despite being spoiled by the previous owners and finding myself disappointed I wanted Chinese tonight. I suppose it's necessary to take your kids to work with you if you own a business. But a 6 yr old (if that) shouldn't be answering the phone and taking orders. And kid's toys and their food remnants shouldn't be littering the few tables available. It doesn't create a very professional environment. I guess I'll be crossing a bridge for Chinese in the future. When I return next Fall I don't expect this business to be there. If it takes that long.
Hot and fresh. Quickly made. The price is great for all the food you can order and I ordered some healthier food from here when I was sick + soup and it was like magic
Great food with multiple options..kids loved the veggies in all the items. Great place to have simple and delicious chinese food. Chicken with fresh garlic was awesome with lots of veggies
Pork with Chinese vegetables had very little pork and only large pieces of celery. Egg roll had practically no filling and tasted like a corn dog. Really bad.
Ddddddfffffff
Portion size was good, food tasty, but the counter person was confused because the online menu prices didn't match what the in-store menu said.
