This is a hidden gem. Gary is great j always smiling and talking to everyone. He has something for everyone’s taste and you won’t regret it . Hot dogs. Burgers, onion petals, he even has a seafood sandwich which is next on my list to try. Thanks for making it to Daytona.
We found this little place by accident when looking for a place to eat on our way back to our room. The owner was exceptionally friendly, and very accommodating to our questions. We were very pleased with our whole experience and highly recommend this place. The hot DAWGS were huge and you can get almost any topping you like. Being from Illinois, we're accustomed to Chicago Style, but Bay Street offered a twist to traditional and then some.
We stopped last night, the hotdogs are amazing even the vegan dog is awesome. I love how they toast the bun, they have great toppings. Everything we had was fantastic. I highly recommend you go try this hidden gem.

Such an awesome local gem! Their dogs are absolutely amazing and they have such an awesome selection of wild topings. Sure, you can go traditional but why do that when you can choose dogs with incredible toppings such as Mac and cheese, homemade hot relish, homemade Chilli and more. The icing on the cake is their very unique (at least anywhere around here) take on the buns. No lame ballpark buns here--its similar to a Texas toast style bun that's griddled. From what I gather the style of bun and dog is a staple in Connecticut but this was my first exposure to this delicacy. On top of all this, the restaurant is absolutely spotless and kept really clean which is a rarity in my opinion.Give this local business a try and I promise you'll ve back again and tell your friends.
Amazing food! This place is so cute! You have to try the Seafood Roll and Hot Dogs! Sooooo good! Outside patio is also dog friendly! ?
Such a cute little place. I was wondering because they named them self after hotdogs if their hotdogs would be good. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised they are very good. They also have a cute little spot outback with trees and outside seating and a little waterfall. Definitely coming back here again. I like a mustard dog but they have a lot of different hot dog options.
My first time at Bay Street Dawgs... and I have to say it was a really great lunch. I had the Surfs Up Dawg! The service was fast and easy (which is great at lunchtime), and the place is super clean. Plus I picked the perfect day to sit outside on their back patio area. I would highly recommend this place for a great lunch!
Great portion sizes -dog greatly extends the length of the bun! Good variety of topping choices. All made to order with fast and friendly service. Seafood roll was sooo good and a good value too!
Stopped by yesterday was craving a dog and burger and I was so surprised to find out there steamed burgers!! Oh my the juices so much flavor and I started with a surf side dog. The pineapple mango salsa was outstanding. Will be back weekly! Thanks again Gary
