So our waitress was great (Felicia), but the quality has gone WAY down. Out of 5 of us, only two of us really enjoyed our food. The silverware was disgusting even though we were told all silverware is sanitized and put in dishwasher. We don't fault our waitress because honestly she was so cool but management needs to tighten up and captain their ship. Though our waitress was great, if I never go back, I'm not missing much.
We were hungry for Oriental Chicken Salads at Applebee's. We hadn't been to Volusia Mall Applebee's in a long time so we thought we'd give it a try. That turned out to be a terrible idea. Our server was wonderful and working like crazy. But apparently they were training new kitchen staff. Lunch was a total fail! Our salads were not like any of the Oriental salads we have had in the past. They came without a lot of the ingredients and no dressing. When we got a container of dressing and poured it on. It was not the usual dressing that came with that salad. It was hot and spicy and completely ruined our salads. We paid our check, informed and thanked our server, but we will not be back. Really disappointed!!
Absolutely freezing in there. Service was very poor from our server. The host did a fantastic job, which is the only reason for 3 stars. He was great with my daughter and getting us drink refills.
The bartender in the server in the manager they was awesome I can't remember y'all names and thank you y'all for that night on my son graduation
The food is generally good, service on the other hand, awful. The host was great, waiter not so much. The restaurant was not busy in the least and getting our food took forever.I wish they'd seriously consider the atmosphere for the guests. On a 92°+ day, it's ridiculous to have the restaurant air conditioning set to "glacial". Those vents blow right on us, from all directions, so being comfortable while eating is impossible. No one lugs around a suitcase with arctic gear in it to accommodate being able to eat at this establishment.
Our most recent visit was not up to standard from this location. Our server stoney was great. It was the food the was the dissatisfaction. A new cook =not so good food. She was the ONLY server. She mentioned herself even going to management, we were shocked to hear management didn't bat a eye of concern. Shame because this was a "great food" restaurant. No pix needed.
A lot of employees but not enough service. very unproductive. Two and a half hours for two guys to get two burgers. Employees were talking a lot amongst themselves into their friends. The bartender ended up serving us. Food was all right it just took forever. Not very professional.
The service was not served properly the food portions was awful and the drinks weren't served on time mine was about 20 min or more behind the first service. Then alot of food that was on the menu they didn't have food choices need to change. My food was cold and yes it was the 8 oz medium rare steak, it was a do over as well. We still left a great tip of 20 bucks for the young girl who was working alone. The kitchen was the problem more than her being the blame. Management took off my drink which I didn't want anymore ?
Shrimp was good . Very spicy, maybe a little too much. French onion soup was excellent however you only get a cup full. It's small.
This was the worst experience! The 1st server claimed she took our drink order but didn't. We had a 2nd server come over to take our drink order, claiming the 1st server lost our receipt/order. (It was only four drink orders, and two were the same). The 1st server only had literally three drinks to remember (and we were the only ones in her section at the time, and she said she just started her shift when we were all in conversation ordering)The 2nd server placed our drink order and went back to tend to her section. The 1st server came back with our drinks and to take our food order. We asked her to write our food order down so she wouldn't forget, so she wrote it on a napkin. Her napkin happened to fold downward, and all we saw was loop-de- loops, and scribbles. The server said she was going to put in our order. We asked for a manager. (He went to the wrong table at first, and we told him it was our table; we needed to speak with him.). We asked if the (1st) server was okay; she was slurring her words, figitty, sitting on the other table while we gave her our order. We explained what we saw on the napkin and the issue with our drinks and asked him to just make sure our order was correct. Well, low and behold 15/20mins later, we have a 3rd server come out and ask to take our order....?? smh.... We said the order should be in we already, we spoke with the manager, 3rd server said ok. Let me run back and double-check real quick. She comes back and says no, your order is not in... In the meantime, another gentleman sat in the 1st server section, and he thought his order was placed as well, and it wasn't.The absolute worst experience!!
