Definitely delicious food and all from scratch ?Homemade Gnocchi is one of my favorites so, it was a nice surprise.Megan gave us great service as well.Next time in Daytona, I’ll be back for their homemade deserts and I’ll ask for Megan to serve us too.
Sydney is AMAZING!!! Best server in all Daytona!! I will come back just to have her take care of us again. She was very knowledgeable with the wines and paired them great with my meal.
Shockingly horrible experience! Saw many mixed reviews on this establishment but also saw an add that was inviting. I was looking for a quaint authentic Italian cuisine where I could take a colleague to dinner. Our experience was a complete repeat of the negative reviews I have read. I can only guess the positive reviews are either from their friends or people who do not have taste buds nor know what real Italian food should taste like. Our waitress was Anna. She was rather pushy and rushing us to order. Everything we asked for they were out of. Their so called "Imported" items were basic everyday grocery store items. Meals lacked some of the basic ingredients that should have been present. They must have been out of garlic because not one dish had garlic present. Flavor of sauce tasted like it came out of a can. I've had much better cafeteria food in a hospital, really. Our appetizers were not authentic and lacked flavor. We had hoped the entree would be acceptable at the least, but far from it. The waitress Anna begins bringing items from the kitchen telling us to try to "fix" it. I refused to cook my own meal and sent it back to the kitchen. Anna began screaming and yelling at us, stating out food tastes bad because we drank too much and ate too much bread! I was drinking sparkling water. My guest had one glass of wine which was some $6 brand that they were selling for $45 a bottle. Anna continued with her scene and would not leave my table when I asked her to. Finally the chef called her into the kitchen. She came back to our table stating everyone "tasted" my meal and it was good. I refused it and she really lost her mind. She screamed and yelled accusing us of wanting a free meal and she really became so out of hand that I began to call the police. Again the chef came out and sent her to the kitchen. I paid the entire bill and left hungry because no part of the meal was edible. I'm am completely shocked! I can't believe any establishment would allow an employee to remain working there with such abusive customer service. It was truly an abusive experience! This is Absolutely an honest review. I've never been here before and will NEVER return. I highly suggest all you hard working people, read ALL of the negative reviews. And keep in mind, just because someone is from Italy, doesn't mean they can cook. If you love chefboyrdee in the can, you might like this food. If you like being screamed at, you might like the service. If you want quality, look elsewhere.
AnnaMaria, Is a wonderful waitress. We had a amazing dinner completely authentic. Our dining experience in a very quaint restaurant was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
If you're looking for classy place with romantic atmosphere and fabulous food - this is your place. Clean, excellent service (thanks Walter), soft beautiful music, close by to hotels. Highly recommended.
Very nice dinner! Well presented! Decent sized portions, All 4 of our dinners were perfectly seasoned finally a positive dinner experience while on vacation!
Found this restaurant on trip advisor. It was as wonderful as everyone stated. We had the gnocchi and chicken Parmesan, both were delicious. Our waiter was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
We were so lucky to find an opening for two at this little gem of a restaurant. We saw others being turned away without reservations on a Saturday. This place has an elegance with cloth tablecloths and a pleasant interior. The food was delicious. We started with the bread, the salads and the Eggplant Parmesan and Lasagna were both outstanding. The house wines were generous and smooth. Walter provided attentive service it will definitely be my go to in Daytona.
Don’t let the look of the neighborhood discourage you from stepping into Anna’s! It is a gem- not a large place but what a great place! The servers were very helpful and accommodating. I they made us feel very special like we were in a fancy high end restaurant. The wine and food were excellent- real Italian flavors. The portions were enough for a second helping to take home. You don’t want to miss this excellent restaurant!
Anna’s is absolutely amazing. Best Italian food I’ve ever had.Make a reservation!!Don’t plan on a night where you’re on a time frame. Everything is made to order, it takes a while to get your food but it’s 1,000% worth it! Plan on staying about 2 hours.So make that reservation, enjoy an appetizer and wine, order anything off the menu (it’s all delicious) and plan on bringing the left overs for breakfast the next day
