Surprised how much we enjoyed this place. Went on a Tuesday where the special is make your own German combination. Everything was wonderful… from the the schnitzel , goulash, cabbage, potatoes, brats etc..we had a great taste of different things. Had a wonderful craft beer with lots to choose from. We sat outside . The inside is basic beer hall design with televisions. Normally we don’t do sports bars but we will definitely be back. Great service ..even though they apologized for being short of help
The German beer choices are outstanding and are my main reason for visiting, the food is good (schnitzel with spaetzel and gravy). The service could be better; the restaurant could use a little TLC as the booths, stools, etc. need some maintenance.
We went prior to the dinner rush, so service was good and the meals came out quickly. We had the pretzel appetizer - yummy with the dip! We also had the wings, whicwh we all felt were good, not great. I had the BBQ ribs are really enjoyed them. The rest of the table had more traditional German selections and everyone enjoyed immensely.
This place has excellent food but is severely understaffed. Today is the third time I gone in with my family or friends and sat unattended for over 20 minutes and just left. The first time I thought it was just an off day. The second time we just couldn’t wait anymore. Today was the last time. Don’t waste you’re time unless you have at least 2 hours. That is not an exaggeration.
Amazing place great happy hour and food! My favorite is the bacon wrapped bratwurst with the pretzel...mouthwatering! Also karaoke night is fun! Sorry no pics but go Wunder!!!
Okay food, okay service, okay ambiance. I expected a German theme, & to be fair, they did have some German-influenced menu selections & a couple of German-ish signs, but the overall feel of the place was more like a generic American strip-mall eatery. I did enjoy myself, but probably will choose a different place next time.
Absolutely amazing food and great beer selection. Found this place by accident, have been here several times since. The pretzel and the sausage sampler are great. Also any of the entres.
Absolutely phenomenal!!! The food was excellent, the service was superb, and we can't wait to visit again. We ordered chicken schnitzel and Veal schnitzel, with the brie and mushroom soup as a starter. The soup was divine (a Must Have), and the schnitzel was perfect.
It was our first time here and it was fun. Our server took good care of us and the food was very good (veal schnitzel with Jäger gravy, brie & mushroom soup, red cabbage, spätzle). Nice interior, and they have different events for different nights.
Sorry people, but I love veal. That is what I got at the Wunderbar! Veal schnitzel. It was unbelievable. I totally recommend this restaurant. Please go. Our waitress was awesome. It was a great place.
