First time trying Sweet Aloha Ice Cream and it was delicious! My kids loved the HUGE shaved ice and I enjoyed the handmade ice cream!
Yesterday, I had an uncontrollable pregnant lady craving for shaved ice but couldn’t find anything that looked appealing near me. I was on a mission and found this establishment. My boyfriend had the mango ice cream which tasted just like real mango and I had my shaved ice which was delicious, not even the Italy ones I had last year tasted nearly as great. Absolutely loved it, I just wish it was closer to my area but it is definitely worth the 36 min drive and I will definitely be coming back!
Wow just wow, finally a real deal Hawaiian shave ice shop that is 100% legit. They have tons of flavors for the shaved ice and if your not into shave ice they have a bunch of ice cream flavors too. And if you want to get a little crazy they even can put alcohol into everything too. FYI they have a secret menu too, if you know then you know …
I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m sad I didn’t try it sooner!! The ice cream is absolutely amazing, I tried multiple flavors and had a hard time picking one because they were all so good! I also tried the shaved ice with the special “sour spray” and cannot wait to go back soon for more! Thank you Jimmy for the great experience and delicious ice cream. 10/10 recommend!
What a wonderful experience. We were traveling from Key West to Ft. Lauderdale and had a hankering for ice cream. We were welcomed kindly, and we were able to sample any flavor that looked appealing to us. The owner was 100% knowledgeable about their homemade ice cream that she and her husband make and serve. They also serve an amazing shaved ice. My husband got a hot fudge sundae, my brother-in-law got Chocolate Kahlua with Almonds and a scoop of strawberry and my sister-in-law got the mango. Other customers had purchased the shaved iced bowls which were huge. Such a kind and interesting woman (the owner) who chatted with us.
This place is a gem! We tried the shaved ice and it was amazing. The owners were really kind and accommodating. Stop by and check it out if you’re in the area.
Not only was the ice cream at sweet aloha ice cream amazing but so was the SHAVE ice from haole boys shave ice. Jimmy, the owner, was so nice and welcoming. He’s bringing a real piece of Hawai’i to south florida .. we will definitely become regulars ! Must visit for sure.
Sweet Aloha Ice Cream is a heavenly place, where you are greet with a candid Aloha by their own owners. They have so many delicious sweet options from ice cream to shaved iced exotic creations. On a hot day there is not a better way to past the heat. A new place to be near Davie. 100% recommended.

First time here today. Had the pumpkin with a waffle cone. Johnny (the owner) very nice guy. Very much enjoyed the ice cream, honestly the best I’ve had in South Florida so far.Definitely will be back ??
