The service was great. Was able to be seated within the first minute of walking in. Didn’t like the fact they bunched everyone up in one section. There was 1 waitress working 6 tables at once. She did pretty well so of course I left a great tip. However, the food was not so amazing. The ribs were too hard, not enough meat, and my bake beans were probably the worse I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese were ok, needed some salt and pepper. All in all, I won’t be back.
Absolutely my favorite bbq place on the planet! Everything is good but my go to is the sliced pork. The fries, beans, and Cole slaw is good too. Family loves the ribs and brisket too! So good. We moved north and literally drive an hour just to get some of Rob’s bbq. Always so good.
Options for BBQ are somewhat limited in South Florida but this place is good. Food was tasty, and enjoyable. They offered options on the brisket whether you want lean, regular, or fatty which was a first but definitely appreciated. Service was good. Inside smells wonderful. Would put 5 stars but was a little pricey for the amount you get. Will come back though for sure. Recommend the baked beans. They did have a good deal on a rib special which was definitely the way to go but my heart belongs to brisket.
Had a great meal and price point was good. Server was great and was quick and food came out quick. A really good experience and I will come back again.
Just came back from my birthday dinner at Rob's Family BBQ. There were about 20 of us and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our server, Michael, was wonderful! The Baby Back Ribs lived up to their reputation! All the food was tasty and given in ample amounts. Thanks to Shelly, Marilyn and Oscar for a lovely evening. We look forward to coming again.
I'd like to start out by saying I took pictures of the plated food which I posted as well so you can see for yourself. so we have been going here since when it used to be called Scruby (which is a whole story in itself) so we are no stranger. while their food is not yucky they not only RECENTLY RAISED THEIR PRICES but they also almost CUT THEIR PORTIONS IN HALF! they went from about a half a cob of corn to what appears to be 1/3. the baby back ribs slab was LESS THEN 2" wide and about MAYBE 9" long (see the pictures I took). the bean and coleslaw has almost been cut in half as well. the service was good but like I stated already their prices went up & THEIR PORTIONS HAVE SHRUNK. so if you don't care about paying more for less check um out, but after dining their for ever we will not be going back because there are way too may other great places to eat THAT SERVE LARGER PORTIONS FOR A MORE REASONABLE PRICE this is my review & I'M STICKIN TOO IT
It was my first time on Thursday. Man, oh man.The baby back ribs were so delicious.The Beans were the best.The place is very clean and well staffed.Our server, Karen, was very nice.The mens bathroom was very clean and well stocked.A clean bathroom is a great sign of a good business.
If you know BBQ then you know…. This place is worth a visit anytime of the day.Most amazing beef short ribs, Smoked chicken, brisket, all amazing! And the deserts…. OH MY GOD Thumbs up if this helps and is truthful!
Would not accommodate someone that had surgery and unable to consume much food. Asked about a kids portion size. Waitress said we don't have kids portion sizes. Waitress was not friendly at all. Did not get anything to eat. Did have a bite of daughters pulled pork sandwich. It was very good. Only 2 star because waitress attatude and not a kid or someone with food issue friendly. I've been to other restaurants that have accommodated my situation. I would not come back here.
Ordered baby back ribs full rack. They brought it cold and the only meat I was able to find was between bones. Everything on top they cut. I requested my salad ? to be chopped and mixed with balsamic vinegar. Server brought it un chopped. Prices kind of good. But I left hungry. The only one thing is really good is atmosphere. Clean and nice inside a lot of little nice details.Toilet was also pretty dirty and very old.
