Never coming back here again. Their food is eclipsed by the nasty attitude of the lady that's usually at checkout. Each time we’ve been here she’s had the same bad attitude. This last time, we got there at 7:20, spent over $120 in food. Two people from our party went up to the counter at 7:59 to get takeout bags to pack up. At that point the cashier proceeded to yell out to us "we're closed, so leave"... then blasted the tv and looked at us while we packed up. We're mindful of people wanting to go home. We didn't take more than a minute or two to pack up. Either way, it doesn't justify being disrespectful. No matter how good the food is, people will get sick of the attitude and disrespect.

You can't go wrong at this place. Fresh, fresh and fresh. A unique experience for the Hoagie lover. place your order and watch your meat fly through the air on the assembly line to be caught by the person who sliced open your soft hoagie roll. Bring the family or go alone...JUST GO!

I first reviewed La Spada in 2008, giving it five stars. In those days I would have given it six if I could have. Things have changed, and here is my new review: I’ve been enjoying La Spada subs for decades…ever since they started with the original location near the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. I was happy when they opened the Davie location and became a regular there. We went often, and even did parties featuring La Spada subs. They became famous, making many of the “Best Subs in America lists” and even placing #1 a few times. That was then…this is now. I knew something was wrong when I visited recently. Instead of the usual line out the door there was only one other customer in the place. It appears as if the place has changed hands. Most of the staff who had been there for years are gone. The place, which used to be spotless, no longer is. They no longer use high quality meats (they used to use Boar’s Head) and the difference is obvious. 1. The meats are sliced so thin you can read through them. You get a lot less meat than before. And even though you get a lot less, the prices have gone up considerably. 2. Instead of ham they now use a low-quality ham “loaf” where tiny scraps of ham are pressed together with a gelatin binder, so it looks like sliced whole ham…which it is not. 3. They no longer use real capicola, but instead use another pressed ham “loaf” (with added spice to give it capicola-like “heat”) cut in rounds to look a little like real capicola. 4. The veggies are still okay except for their signature sweet peppers, which are no longer cured nearly long enough to develop the sweet, pickled taste and soft texture. It’s like eating fresh, tough sliced peppers briefly dunked in sweetened vinegar. 5. The Tuna Salad is now watery instead of creamy, and although it is clearly not spoiled, it tastes a bit “old.” This recent visit was a “to-go” order. When I reached my destination and reviewed my receipt, I found that I had been charged for an extra sandwich…one I had neither ordered nor received. I guess most people wouldn’t have gone back for a refund, but I did. I got my refund with a "business-as-usual" shrug, so I guess this is now common practice here. So in addition to the poor quality, you need to be really careful to examine your receipt while still in the store. I will not be going back. Even the guy that made my sandwiches told me that they’ve been losing most of their business to Jersey Mike’s (I have never been to a Jersey Mike's, but I'll give 'em a try soon). I fully understand why.

I wish I could say more but I can say this, truly amazing service. Showed up right before closing less than 5 mins and they still helped. I offered to not order since I saw they were cleaning up and finishing everything packed up. The staff welcomed me in and helped me get what I wanted. Wish I could give more than 5 stars

I miss Laspada's when they first opened. They overflowed their hoagies with meat. But now you have to ask for extra. We went on a busy night. They are usually always busy. And they were a bit shouty and confusing and a bit on the rude side. The hoagie was good. Super expensive. 3 hoagie, 3 cookies, no drinks, no chips... it came out to over $50. If you're craving a good sandwich find yourself a Laspada's. And pack your patience for a wait and some not nice workers.

Grew up in this location and after 2 decades still amazing!

This place awesome. The slice the meats and throw them across to the next person who prepares your sandwich and he catches with the bread without missing a beat and starts creating your sandwich. This place is a must go. The food was really good

Laspada is the real deal. Best hoagies in South Florida. I recommend the meatball sub! It's insane!

Usually a good place to go for quality food fast. Not this time. Not acceptable. They should be ashamed for the little amount they gave and the high price they charged.

Ordered a large monster! Outstanding flavor and quality.
