MUST READ- days old food given. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your time here. Ordered take out, paid $17.25 for a caprese salad that didn’t even come with basil and almost no dressing. $5.00 for a teeny cup of soup that had no broth. When we called to ask what happened with this order we were told they didn’t have basil (would have been nice to know that prior to spending the money on it) and that the reason there was no broth is because the soup was made two days ago. Wow. Super argumentative on the phone. Will not be back. DO NOT COME HERE!
So three “cups” of pasta fagioli… literally no broth…Called to ask why I got a cup of boiled veggies and noodles, and I quote “when the owner makes it fresh, you get more broth, but that’s two day old soup, so that’s all that’s left.” Let that one sink in.“Caprese salad” upon opening the order at home, no basil. Called and once again “…yeah.. because we are out of basil” ??♂️Even as a courtesy it would’ve been a decent thing to know. On top of that, we ended up having to add our own olive oil AND balsamic to it, for it even to be somewhat more than 3/4 of a tomato and some cheese for almost 20$$Yesterdays order was a droopy soggy cheese pizza that was apparently “fresh”41$ gone and a tough luck later… literally go anywhere else.We used to love this place. What happened.
I heard about the new management being AWFUL but I didn't know just HOW RUDE and NASTY people really meant!! The guy with Orange Beard is absolutely DISGUSTING and DISGRACEFUL!!! Never saw worst customer service literally in my LIFE !!!!!!! He should NOT work with customers... no wonder this place went DOWNHILL.. and the pizza is NOT good anymore... GREASY and GrOSS... avoid at all costs!! U will thank me later !!! Never again !!!!!
Poor service. I wanted to support a local establishment instead of a national chain so I took my 9 year old to DelVecchio’s and he wanted to dine in. We went there in 2019 and had great service but not so now. The server seemed annoyed that we decided to dine in from the start but I brushed that off. But then he went to every other table except ours. People who came after us were getting menus and drinks. After 15 minutes I walked to the counter to ask the cook for the manager and the server walks up from the back. The cook tried to apologize but the server had an even bigger attitude and said, “I’m bringing it.” No apology. Nothing. Just looking at me like I was the one with the problem. At that point I told my child we’ll go where we get good service. We went to Whole Foods. I was planning on purchasing about 5 large pies from them next week but I guess Whole Foods will be getting those orders.
Forget saving your money, save yourself the frustration. Whoever is in charge of this establishment does not want to be in business. Customer service is not their main priority actually the mere fact that you walked in and ordered food is a complete disturbance to them.Ordered my food medium pizza & garden salad $45 plus tax not cheap but nothing crazy and add a $3 tip (for no service I went up ordered my food got up picked up my food you get where I’m going with this ) my daughter asked for more ceasar dressing for her salad I went up and was told it was .50 cents . Without even thinking first words out of my mouth “Are you serious” which he proceeded to inform me I didn’t have a tab open (buttttt, you said there was no service) and it would be .50 for extra dressing lol said no thanks and he proceed to tell the other employee that “everyone wants everything for free” see here’s the part that gets me I know everyone is feeling the financial pressure I get it but your perspective on this is totally skewed. Here I am a new potentially repeating customer who just gave a $3 tip for you to do basically heat up and hand me my food and you can’t just give an extra dressing blows my mind. I wish it ended there but as we were leaving he yelled to leave our plates on the tables (we had no plates) then yelled at me to put the plate that was already at the trash back on the table (wasn’t mine lol)Needless to say it’s a one and done for me on this one. Placed an order for them through DoorDash and I noticed after 30 minutes it never got confirmed. When I called this restaurant to check the status no one answered so I called DoorDash to the cancel the order and the representative advised me the restaurant would not let them cancel the order ended having to call my bank to get my money back.
This place is unbelievable and very dirty wife was having an issue with her diabetes and needed to take some medicine. So I popped on there and asked the tall redheaded manager for a cup of water. He said is that all your getting I said yes my wife needed to take some meds. He told me he since I was not getting anything elese I could not have a Togo cup because they cost money. But he could give me a glass of water that had to stay in the restarunt so I asked if I could get a straw as the glass didnt look great and asked for a straw and he proceeded to tell me that straws cost money too and wouldn't give me one. Little did he know we were regulars and ate there for date night once a week. But wont ever go back this establishment has gone downhill in a very bad way. It's not cleanly at all and to deny someone a cup of water because to go cups cost money is absurd. This place is nothing like Pizza Loft was. They were clean and cared about there customers. Me and my family and friends will never return and will spread the word so people know what type of staff they have here. Sad Tower Pizza as well as Pizza Loft were both top notch clean delicious restaurants. This place is disgusting now.
DON’T ORDER HERE! I never leave reviews and I am not trying to be a Karin, but this place is RIDICULOUS! Called in for a carry out for 2 pizzas. When I got there they told me they never started the order because I was asking too many questions and they thought that it was a prank call???? The man who claimed to be the “manager” lied and told me he tried calling me back to verify it was a legit order as I showed him my call log where there was clearly no missed call from them. I asked if there was any way to be compensated with a form of discount for the inconvenience of having to wait longer. He refused. You’ll be better getting a frozen pizza from Publix then dealing with this place.
Took the fam to DelVecchio’s Pizzeria lastnight to use the $100 voucher that I received from Thank Magazine and it being my first time here I had to try a little bit of everything! Had two large pizzas ?, garlic rolls , and wings ? ! My favorite part would have had to be the garlic rolls, really fresh and topped with fresh chopped garlic!
Just stopped for a quick slice after getting a haircut. Veggie pizza was delicious, friendly attentive service. Food came out hot, fresh and was really good
