We had just ate there the night before. Probably our 10th visit. They had our name down wrong, said Happy Birthday, wasn't my birthday. Service was the slowest we have ever had. He was preoccupied about something. Drinks were late, took forever for our order, then the meal. Bread was on time. Food was off. If that would have been our first visit, it would have been our last. Definitely has put a sour taste in Dining there again.
From beginning to end, Council Oak was a first rate experience. I let them know It was a big birthday for my husband. They seated us next to a beautiful waterfall in a quiet part of the room that was absolutely stunning and perfect. I am a vegan and donât normally look forward to eating a baked potato for dinner at a steakhouse. The waiter went to the chef and came back and told me he would prepare a grilled tofu and vegetable dish. It was spectacular! The service was impeccable; food was exceptional- each person was thrilled with what he ordered she chose. I would go back for another special occasion or just for dinner out; this place is special and they really know how to run a restaurant.
Be careful, I don't like when the suggested tip is based on the tax also, and sure enough at this fine restaurant the suggested tip also includes the tax
We had a great table with a view of the guitar. The service was excellent. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for date night.
It was my Momâs birthday and our waiter, Keith, was great! He brought out a plate with some chocolate tarts on it with a Happy Birthday sign and a candle! Service was great and the food was good too!
Excellent quality steak cuts grilled to perfection. Iâve had dinner there many times and itâs always great. Filet mignonette with the wine reduction Demi glaze sauce is my favorite. Split the iceberg salad. Enjoy.
