It was just two of us and the hostesses, who were not so hospitable, kept seating many other people that came in after us. They were not welcoming at this establishment and after waiting and being looked over for almost an hour, we left without being seated.

I've had CJ Blacks in my must-try list for some time. I finally was in the area on a Sunday afternoon and stopped in with my husband and stepson. I ran into a friend dining on the patio but it was way too hot for that so we opted for inside. There was a band playing. At first it seemed too loud but they were really good that you eventually didn't mind and you were singing along. I had clam chowder to start. It was dropped at the table before the waitress even finished taking our order- impressive! My stepson ordered fried pickles to start and they were perfectly breaded and crisp. My husband had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and I had the Mona Lisa. Both portions were generous and tasty. My stepson had the sushi but was unimpressed. Both guys had cheesecake for dessert. Overall it was a very good experience and I would head back to try more menu items.

This is a nice mix-up of different types of foods in one restaurant. The food was pretty incredible and the portions are really good...especially the pretzel starter, it's freaking great and huge!I had a filet cooked medium rare, and it was super tasty and big...one of the sides I had was asparagus, steamed....which was very good.Only two minor gripes...my meal could have been warmer, and the booth padding is kind of thin...so it made it rough to sit on after a bit for me.The parking is pretty good with a bunch of handicapped spots out front of the entrance. This location is separate from the main strip mall...so if you follow Google maps to this location look out towards State Rd. 84.Be safe all.

Nice spot with great food and drinks. Plenty of seating at the 2 bars orthe dining area. Atmosphere was casual and fun and the bartenders and servers were friendly. I was only here once while visiting but I would go back next time i'm in town for a drink and some tasty appetizers.

Our first time dining here and already looking forward to coming back again. The diverse menu offers something for everyone. We ordered four separate dishes and each was delicious. On top of that the service was excellent. Shout out to our waiter Shawn.

A great place to eat. Very friendly staff who are very attentive to your needs.

Our waiter David was awesome!! Great food. Great service

Great food and fantastic service!

With all the good reviews I expected more of this location. I ordered the cod fish and chips. Three pieces served one of which did not appear to be cod. Not flaky and thin and very fine textured. Definitely not cod. Also it was marinated or somehow seasoned in an unappetizing way.My wife had the triple tenderloin sliders that were rather short on tenderloin. The cap on the evening was a restroom that was less than clean and generally a mess.On the plus side we had a knowledgeable server and a well poured drink. All in all I have to say It's probably not going to be worth a return visit.

I would give a 4 star but I was a huge fan of the waiter. He was awesome. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Fried pickles did not taste like pickles at all. They were sliced too thin. Brussels were nice but were extremely sweet. Mac and cheese was on point. Fried Chicken sandwich needs way less bun. Bourbons are way overpriced.
