This restaurant is a hidden Gem. Ciopino was superb, with the assortment of seafood and the wonderful broth. The $55 price tag was well in line with the overall menu.
Great place, a little loud to converse, great staff Aja n Fabian did a great job making us feel special and the food was amazing!!!
Birthday dinner
Great views of the hotel and pool area. Food was outstanding and the staff was wonderful.
Abiaka is the secret spot that shouldnât be missed. Weâve eaten at every restaurant on the Hard Rock property and this was our last one to try. I think it may very well be the best for last. From start to finish, everything here was top notch. The restaurant is very pretty, open, and overlooks the guitar hotel and pool area. Javier, our waiter, was attentive, helpful with menu suggestions, and friendly. Felipe, the manager I believe, came by to make sure everything was good and offer suggestions on some of his favorites. They start with complimentary cheese biscuits that were tasty. Every dish, from appetizers to desserts, was delicious. Drinks were strong and smooth. Our least favorite was the ratatouille and the broccoli maybe could be a little more roasted. The beef short rib heaven. Normally we donât order chicken at a fine dining restaurant but this one was worth going against our usual for. Desserts were a perfect ending to an amazing meal. The cornbread dessert was a pleasant surprise as you wouldnât normally think about cornbread for dessert. Run, donât walk, to this restaurant if you want an amazing meal/experience from start to finish.
Food and service excellence
The food was outstanding and service was great
Got treated horribly. Iâm not sure why I was profiled and treated differently from other guests. I wanted to have a nice dinner by myself and was enjoying trying the different menu items. At the end of the meal I asked to get a wine. Thereâs like 6 red wines on their list but she said they only have one. She said they are closed the next two days and they donât want to open a new bottle of wine so it has to be that one. I just found that a little odd but whatever, I asked to just get another cocktail please instead. She came back and told me that they canât serve me anymore alcohol because her manager thinks I shouldnât have anymore. I have never in my life had this happen to me. I was not behaving abnormal so I have no clue why they decided to do that. I was sitting quietly by myself the entire dinner, on my phone a lot of the time. They said itâs for my âsafetyâ. I was completely humiliated. I felt like I did something wrong. And my whole experience was just ruined I was extremely hurt by this. I had 3 drinks over the course of 3 hours. I was staying at the hotel. I was not drunk. I am still extremely confused about the whole situation. I saw other guests ordering many drinks and entire bottles of wine. I called the restaurant and the manager, Felipe, really couldnât tell me why they did that he just said thatâs what they âdecidedâ to do and itâs a âcase by caseâ. I left my meal humiliated, and very sad.
Very nice experience and food. Ask for Meagan for your waitress. She explained everything very nicely! Food was delicious!
