Very slow drive through. Got out of line and ordered inside. Ordered one strawberry frosty and two chocolate on the self order screen. Turned out they did not have chocolate. Canceled the order and had to wait five minutes for cash. Staff seemed unhappy.
Ok, do yourself a favor.. never order for curbside pickup at that location! Absolute fail!! I ordered from the app today, went and parked at the designated spot, waited 30 mins and No order. So, I go in to see what's going on and my wife's order was just sitting in a corner inside, 2 employees chilling and texting AND MY ORDER WAS NOT EVEN BAGGED!!! After another 5 mins, I was given my order and I picked my wife's cold bag and walked out..no apologies no nothing. Oh and the real Kicker?? They got my order WRONG. But alas I was already at home when i opened my bag. I like Wendy's but I will NEVER EVER go back there again. Plenty of other fast food joints around.
If I could give this store negative stars. The manager ignored app delivery driver (after dining room was closed) when there were over 10 people in the drive thru. So had to cancel customer order though app because the drive thru wasn’t moving for 10 minutes. Was so far removed from even the order taking area that we were able to see the minivan waiting for his order passed the pick-up window for over 5 minutes. The manager then MIRACULOUSLY was able to make her way to the door (not to speak to delivery app driver about the order that was getting cold for the Door Dasher customer or give the bag of food to us so we could deliver the already made food to the customer and not wait in the long line) to give the order to the minivan driver that had also been waiting. Good food, awesome interior. Not so eco-friendly restrooms. Like seriously, Wendy's making a move downgrading from hand dryers to paper towels? UNACCEPTABLE!! I'd recommend at least installing a modern type of hand dryer for some sort, so customers won't be forced to kill the environment around using paper towels..
No one wore hair nets some had long ponytails passed shoulder length dangling in front of them and food. One man made the lemonade with no gloves then took the trash out and only used a napkin to hold the handle to the trash can (just put gloves on) food looked good but upset my stomach. Lady took a order outdoors came back in didn't wash hands and continued taking orders and handling food.
EXTREMELY slow drive thru experience. Order taker mumbled and was difficult to understand. Missing food item I ordered. Ordered a different salad and the full, uncut chicken slab was simply plopped on top of the greens without any knife included to cut it up. Bad experience.
On vacation and we needed something quick to eat. The wait was super long which I can understand with short staffing but they didn’t get our order right and we had to ask for sour cream that they also forgot…then they took a few minutes to grab…. Just all around not a good place to go again.
Placed order on line and attempted to redeem some points rewards. Took pictures of the order and rewards used, always do when ordering on line. When I arrived to pick up order, I noticed that reward order was not included. I asked the guy why not and showed him a picture of the rewards. Another employee approached and stated that their register did not show the reward been used. I show her the picture and she said nothing she can do. I asked her for the manager and she said it was her. I told her maybe I did something wrong when I placed the order, it was my first time using it and if she could show me how to properly do it for next time. Her response, I only see what my computer shows, I don’t know how to use it, this is the Manager!!! I said ok, make me the chicken sandwich and I’ll pay for it. She stated back, can’t do it. I replied I said I’m going to pay for it, make it and I’ll pay for the freaking sandwich!! She yelled back at me why do you have an attitude, I said, can you please make my sandwich so I can get out of here!! She screamed to an employee, make a chicken sandwich so I can give it to this gentleman. I replied back, you are not giving me I am paying for it. She grabbed the sandwich and put it on the counter for me to take. I put $6 on the counter and she said, take your money to which I responded it’s not about the money!! And left.This happened today, may 4 at about 12:40pm at 49503 US 27 Davenport fl. I have to say my grandkids love their food and I’ve been to this store numerous times and always received good treatment from employees I dealt with. I’m a firm believer if your job requires contact with the public and you are having a bad day Stay Home!!!
Very disappointed with Wendy's lately used to be a very nice place but once again, when you hire staff and it gets busy the ship needs to stay afloat. This fay the place was not that busy and this is what I got a sad looking tomato a half a leaf of lettuce a side of the bread with mayo and a grease chicken. Keep it up ...
Ordered in drive thru at 1120pm. Waited over 25 minutes in the drive thru. The person before me returned their 4 burgers twice, as they were not made correctly while everyone waited in drive thru. Then I get my burger also made incorrectly. Their $4 bag double stack just cheese is $5 instead of $4 ?
