Got fish and chips for my son and I, mild wings, and kids chicken tenders. Fish and chips was very, very good! Quite tasty. Daughter really liked her wings. Had cole slaw with it that was really good! Nice and creamy. If staying in the area again, would go back. Had a great conversation with possibly the owner as well.
My wife and I visit here quite often and we are pleasantly pleased how amazing the chicken wings are. We are used to Buffalo Wings from Buffalo New York and these are right up there with the best. Great job and we will be coming back for a long long time.
Chose here for a family meal and was somewhat disappointed. We looked at the menu prior and the meals looked and sounded appetising. Upon arrival, we had booked however, it was like we weren’t expected. We were asked to sit anywhere which was fine and the waitress came to take our order. The drinks menu was limited so don’t expect spirits etc. We ordered mains only and a few starters as again, they were quite limited. A couple of us had the bangers and mash or should I say smash as it tasted artificial, I admit they ate it all as they were really hungry. The doner kebab was the most odd concoction of meat in a slab (which was the equivalent of a microwave special) and not a lot of meat as it was dressed in a mass of salad. I had the hunter’s chicken and fries. The chicken was dressed in a small amount of bbq sauce, a bit of bacon and covered in processed cheese slices……yes slices and not grated, okay maybe I’m being fussy but It wasn’t what I expected as I’ve had hunters chicken in other eateries in the US and this was by far the worst. There were 2 large random bones in the chicken and had it have been a child eating this, I would be extremely worried. The fries were edible but not as portrayed in the menu and pictures. Needless to say I won’t be recommending or coming back.
The food here is sooooo good. One of the best fish and chips I have ever had!! Servings is always great!!
Possible sedated waitress and cook? The service was painfully slow. Paid almost $30 dollars for a few side orders - heavily overpriced for sub par food. Why is mushy peas served in a tiny melted plastic container??? I wouldn't eat here at this claustrophobic place again if the food was free.
Stopped in for a little lunch before the St. Patrick’s Day madness started. What a Great find! Not a very big seating area, but great decorations! Lots of British fare on the menu. The steak and onion pie was homemade and out of this world! The fish and chips were piping hot and some of the best tasting fish I’ve had. The beef stew was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable as well. Located inna strip mall next to a Publix, iff Rt. 27, this place is a true gem.
Mediocre food. Soggy fries, burnt crust on Beef Pie. Server/bartender worked alone, tried real hard but was overwhelmed. 45 minute wait for food after order was placed. Will not be back.
Been coming here for years to get fish and chips and a cold beer after a long day. Today was the absolute worst fish and chips I've ever had and service was lazy. The fish WAS NOT COD, IT WAS TILAPIA OR SOME CHEAP GELATINOUS AWFULL FISH, IT LITERALLY JIGGLED on my fork. Also it took 30 MIN to hit the table. Did not finish our meals and the server said it was the first complaint she ever herd about it . It was clear my the lack of business that they must have sold or changed management.....also they don't take cash ?? NO STARS
Great people! Everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is decent and do is the price. Karoke is a nice time.There is one complaint; I believe the owner makes enough profit to put a $5.95 hasp on the men's bathroom!
2022 Update: Gross. Menu changed, lots of things out of stock. The dining area and restrooms are also used as a storeroom. My "chips" (fries) had some errant peices of lettuce in them. Wings were tiny. Skip this place.2018 Original Review:Great fish n chips. Very authentic British food! Can't wait to try the full breakfast!
