Considering how busy they were, I really appreciate their customer relation skills by ensuring the customers had fresh food and keeping us "calm" and etc. We didn't mind waiting because the environment was pleasant and fun. The employee who looks like Jason Tatum ? exudes EXCELLENT customer relations skills. Matter of fact, ALL the employees on Saturday night July 2, 2022 were OUTSTANDING!??
I usually have a very good experience at my local Popeye's. First time eating at this location. Food still excellent, and really enjoyed having the Cajun Rice side back on the menu, but the overall experience could have been better.It was a late lunch at 2:38 PM. Most of the tables were empty. There was no scanner with which to accept QR codes from their app for Rewards. The counterperson had no idea what that was. A real deer-in-the-headlights moment. Did she ask a manager? Not even an attempt to do so.Most of the tables were in need of cleaning as they had visible debris on them. Doubt they had been wiped down in a couple hours.No receipt was offered or provided. On purpose? Their customer survey asked for info from the receipt.For reference I ordered a 3 piece Spicy Combo with a Cajun Rice side.
I don't post a lot of reviews, so it's either because something was amazing, or highly disappointing. This is the closest location to my house, but the last 4 visits have been so awful. Missing food, then I was accused of lying for free food (I spent $60), rude staff, managers yelling at staff across the restaurant while taking orders... i could continue. I blame the owner and management. It didn't use to be this bad, but has continually gone downhill. The food is always pretty good, not great or consistent. But for what they charge it's not worth it anymore. I attached a picture of 2 large Mac and cheeses... notice the inconsistency?
I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. We went to a different Popeyes 2 yrs ago on our last visit. Despite being slow the food was great there. Not this time. There was 1 person on cash, who was very bad at it. After my daughter paid for her order in cash, she called her back to say her card didn't go through. After about 10 min if confusion it turned out she gave her $18.00 less change than was due. Meanwhile she proceeded to take 1 order at a time. That order was filled by her, and the next one wasn't taken until it was finished. The absolute slowest service I have ever seen at a takeout. Our orders took about 45 min to place, and there were 6 people behind us complaining about the wait. 2 if them left. Now for the food. The orders were all mixed up. We all rec'd spicy chicken when original was ordered. The shrimp was so overcooked they were hard. The fries were cold. At this point we ate what we could and threw the rest away because it would have taken too long to get them replaced. The washroom was dirty too. My advice is to do a clean sweep of this staff and hire people who know how to work.
If I could give this a zero I would. Terrible service. We get there they made us wait almost 10 minutes to order. Then when we ordered, they had no spicy chicken nor according to them lemonade. However, we pulled up to the window... there was lemonade. Our second car ordered, came to the window and all of a sudden they get to the window and this location is now supposedly out of their entire order. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK.... I'll be glad to drive miles out of the way to a different one.
Been wanting to try Popeye's for a long time. We went inside and got in a line. It was a little long but not too long. I was willing to wait in a little line to try this food. Joke was on me!! The line literally moved one person in about 10 minutes and then there was no cashier to be seen. Even the guy who was in the front of the line commented that he may never get to order his food. Another girl behind me mentioned that this place has the worst service. We waited about another 5 minutes before we left. Still never got to try the food. Maybe they just need a new store manager. (Hint hint) The guy in the front of the line still hadn't ordered. We just went to CiCi's and got salad and Pizza.
I am not trusting this place again for a very long time. The speaker did not work, but I know that the speaker being out is a low priority ticket in the corporate world, so I did not feel upset by that. I am also a very patient person and will wait as long as I need to for food, so that wasn't the issue (for those that want to know, it took an hour). The flavor of all the food was fantastic! The spicy chicken was greasy, but that's what makes it good! The very big issue both me and my husband had was the pricing, the staff, and the cleanliness (or lack of it). We ordered an 11 piece meal for $25.99 (does not come with a drink) then added another large side and 2 medium cokes. We were a little shocked when the price totaled a little over $40, so my husband asked why it was so much. She acted put out by our question and stated,"Well, you ordered the side and two drinks, so it would total that". We looked at the receipt and sure enough, the large side and two drinks were pricey. A man then walked up to the window (Andre) and asked for our order. The woman pulled him back and told him not to take window orders. Both of them were acting suspiciously as she poured our drinks, so I kept an eye on them. I should have recorded them, as my suspicions came true when the man (who had his mask pulled under his chin) then proceeded to lean low over one of the drinks, as the woman attempted to shield him from our sight. He spit in our drink!!! Both my husband and I witnessed it, so we told the woman that we knew what they did and did not want the drinks. She told us that she hadn't done anything. We knew that the man performed the action, she just helped cover it up, so no she didn't "do" anything, if you want to split hairs. So she offered us another drink poured by Andre. We refused as he said,"I can get you a diet, not regular". We just said no and pulled out. My husband said he saw the food being prepared and boxed, so that was, hopefully, safe. We tried calling the location several times after to warn the manager to keep an eye on those two, but no one answered. If we had successfully reached the manager, we wouldn't be posting here. This place needs to shut down.
I usually try and stop here for lunch on my way back to the west coast of FL after working on the east coast. Food was great!! Service was HORRIBLY slow. Between getting the cashier to understand what I wanted and what I assume was the manager roaming around not helping anyone I received my order after being in the business for 30 minutes. I dont know if I will be stopping here anymore.
I really enjoy Popeyes food but the location at hwy 27 and I-4 is disgraceful! I have tried to go there multiple times I've past months and the line is so slow or my order is completely messed up. The place needs new management! Other Popeyes locations do not have this issue! Since the owners of Burger King now run Popeyes, Please fix this location! Thank You!!
It's a must to train their staff customer services and basic manners. Besides the poor customer service they didn't have Mac and cheese ( which was the only reason I wanted to go) and I didn't get any utensils.
