I went here for my 27th birthday. Service started pretty good. She explained how this location cooked their food and what type of food they serve. Drink too a while to get to our table, but thatâs usually how things are now a days. Our appetizer of the pretzel sticks and beer cheese was delicious. Soft and obviously fresh bread! For dinner I had the lamb chops and my boyfriend has Maryâs lamb, mom had salmon crusted. We all enjoyed our meal for the most part. Lamb was cooked perfect. I upgraded to the âlobster Mac and cheeseâ (my mom had regular Mac and cheese) when I looked at both of our plates the mac & cheese looked identical but then I noticed later on that my mac & cheese did have some chunks of lobster in it. When I finally came ate it, it was veryyyy strong and strange tasting. I eat lobster so I understand it can be fishy, but something was weird. Seemed like it was over cooked in microwave several times, and the mac & cheese itself was OK. As for the cocktails, I enjoyed about 4 throughout dinner and all of them didnât taste what I expected from the ingredients. Just seemed like they were rushed to be made and either too strong of liquor or too strong of thick syrups. For dessert I enjoyed the salted Carmel cheesecake which was to die for. The located reminded me of sonnys bbq even thought my mom says the location in Lakeland is nicer. Seems like the menu didnât match the ambience. But I would come back for the cheesecake :P
Been here many time. Food has always been great. This visit the service was subpar. Donât know if waiter was new but we have never had such poor service.

Prime Rib âspecialâ is a bit over-priced. Server Alex was very attentive.
The food, service and bistro was excellent. Staff were friendly and courteous and our server happily made up a non alcoholic cocktail for my daughter. All had steak and it was fantastic. Cooked absolutely perfectly and Wednesdays you get a free bottle of wine with 2 entrees. What's not to love? Look forward to returning

The food and service were both excellent.
Unfortunately we only found this restaurant and bar the day before we came back to the UK. Had we been earlier we would definitely returned. Excellent service with a smile and the food was first class. In particular the variety and the speciality smoked items. I had the lamb chops which were delicious and not to be found in any other restaurant we visited. What also stood out was the choice of sides and in particular the vegetables which are in short supply in other restaurants. The restaurant owners were both there that night and after reading their story and the journey theyâve taken to today congratulations to both of them. Couldnât recommend more.
We were recommended to Ovations by friends mainly due to them having a separate gluten free menu. We visited once and were so happy with our meal and server that we returned on our last night for a send visit and Ovations didn't disappoint Staff were knowledgeable in allergens but most of all the food was excellent. It is not on what I would class the tourist map but is most definitely worth seeking out. We will return on future visits to Florida for sure
