Unfortunately one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Florida for food!We got there about 7pm and as expected had a 25 minute wait, which we were happy with, but once they called us through most of the tables were empty, so not sure on the wait. We then sat down and no one came and acknowledged us for another 20 minutes or asked if we would like to have a drink. We were looking around and a few other tables were constantly checked on to see if they would like drinks.We were about to leave and then finally the waitress walked over and asked for our order.Our food order took nearly 40 minutes and in that time a group on our left had come in after us, ate their food and had desserts before our main turned up.We discussed this with the manager at the time and we just had the normal excuses of blaming their computer systems, but I don’t think a computer system affects your customer service ability, we got offered a free coffee for our next visit but that won’t be happening as we aren’t coming back.*UPDATE*2 days later and I’ve been sick for the last 2 days.
It was Mother's Day so it was very busy but they seated us fairly quickly. Unfortunately, my daughter had a hair in our food and that made her loose her appetite. I know it happens, but it was very unfortunate. I will say the food quality also seemed a little off, but maybe because of how busy they were. Our waitress was amazing and very friendly. We were thankful we had her. However, I believe it was a manager we called over to let her know about the hair and she didn't even tell our server about it or remove the charges for the food we returned and did not have replaced. The waitress removed the charge for the returned food and was very nice.UPDATE Cracker Barrel contracted me and offered to work with me to make it right. They have amazing customer service.
We were seated right away when we came in around 9am on a Monday. An hour later is was crowded!We didn’t wait long for our server. I enjoyed playing the peg game after we ordered. It's a fun way to pass the time. Service was pretty good. The food was fresh, hot, and sinfully delicious ?. Bacon, pancakes, hashbrown casserole, fried apples YUM.I also love browsing the "general store" on the way in and out of the restaurant. So much throw back candy and a variety of other interesting things to consider buying.I don't go to Cracker Barrel often but I enjoy the experience every time I'm there.
Busy soot. Easy access off I4 in Davenport. Freshly prepared food, country style. Service, including seating a little slow but fine. Good atmosphere. Plenty of seating and parking. Clean bathrooms.
We had a group of 20 people after a marriage retreat. They seated us in less than 45 minutes. The staff was friendly, especially Shannon, and the food was good!
My absolute Favourite Place in the Whole World!! My personal Favourite is the Mommas pancake breakfast, cup of coffee and a large fresh orange juice. I love this place, the atmosphere is amazing, I love you can get fat eating your huge breakfast and then go chill on the rocking chairs at the front to relax. We have been many times and will continue to go. Highly recommend Cracker Barrel
