I doordash so I couldn't just leave like most of the other customers were doing. I sat in the drive thru line for 10 minutes because the lobby is closed. When I finally made it to the speaker and told them I was with doordash and the guests name I was told to pull to the window. When I made it to the window, I was told to call the guest because they didn't have mild tenders, they only have spicy tenders and that it would ne 5-7 minutes before they would be ready. The guest said spicy would be fine and when I let the lady at the window know, she asked if I told him it would be 5-7 minutes. I told her I had and she seemed disappointed and told me to pull to the white line and someone would bring it out. I understand they are short handed. I understand they are not able to get all of the items on the truck that they order. I also understand that they can still be nice, and maybe even apologetic.
I ordered a 3 piece chicken strips combo and a 3 piece strips only, a 2 piece breast and leg combo, and 2 apple pies. My bill was over $30. The chicken strips were small. The 2 piece was a thigh and leg. Definitely overpriced. Not satisfied.
$12 for the “surf & turf”. I got two tiny, “shrimp” and raw chicken. They weren’t even busy. I was the only one in the drive-thru!!
They are out of chicken legs, chicken tenders, etc They cannot give you the order you want because they are out or refusing to cook more.
We went by today to pick up 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, 1-8piece nugget, 1-8 piece nugget with 2 sides, Cole slaw and red beans and rice. I've called your establishment never answering the phone. We called about 8 times and I even left a messages thru text messages. First off, y'all forgot my red beans and rice and the bag of the chicken nuggets were super salty. We could not even eat it and we lived 30 minutes north of your establishment. Even the 2 chicken spicy sandwiches had way to much salt. Please correct this problem. We always stop by at least twice a week and have never had this kind of service or salty salty chicken. I was even charged for the beans that was never got. !! EDIT!! GOT HOME AND OPENED MY SANDWICH!? WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT! IT WAS SMALLER THAN A MCCHICKEN! THE PICKLE WAS BIGGER THAN THE CHICKEN!WOW! THIS PLACE IS BUSY! Th manager was awesome tho! ?? She handled all these orders and the employees with precision. Everything is HOT and FRESH my first time finally trying the Chicken sammich I can't wait to dive IN... DIDSAPOINTMENT!
Can we please get rid of the lady that has been getting orders wrong almost since this location has been open. We always have problems when just this one employee is working. Drove 7 miles home tonight to be missing the 2 large mashed potato’s in my family meal after she rudely said everything was in the bag. Tried to call when we noticed the problem and nobody picked up. The phone went to voicemail the mailbox was full. The food here is great. Just would like to get what we actually order or the whole order. Never have a problem when she is not there .
This Popeys is always busy. However, the service is below acceptable standards. Have ordered from them both drive up and by using the app atleast 8 times. Every time have had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. I would say 5 of 8 times the order has been incorrect. Had thought service would have improved was reason kept trying again. Complained in store, complained to corporate, with no improvement. Last visit, my wife was threatened and cursed at by a worker while Manager stood there and said nothing to the worker. We refuse to go to this location. Will drive to other location before using this location again.
Not being dramatic. This has literally been the case for me out of roughly 5 times over the past year or so. We don't go that often so it stands out. Also, don't bother calling the store phone #. It'll just ring then go to voicemail...which you can't leave even if you wanted to because "the mailbox is full." Don't waste your time.
Forgot one of my items but they were very nice and they accommodated my wish for a different drink with no problem. The food was good.
