Okay let me begin by saying the pizza from this place rocks. However we tried the chicken alfredo tonight. The positive is the grilled chicken had a nice even flavor and cooked very well but the noodles & alfredo sauce lacked any resemblance to what it should be. Basically we got thickend milk sauce. The buttery and velvety cheese flavor was completely absent. Of course taken into consideration the lack of staff in restaurants nowadays I can totally understand this being a one off situation. Maybe someone forgot the salt, lemon juice, generous amounts of different cheeses, and even a dash of white pepper. If this is the case I can just let it go and I'll order it again. If we order it again and they fail at such a basic level of Italian cookery we won't be back unless we need pizza.Being a good patron of many different restaurants in the area I hope next time my review of this eatery will be better overall. Thanks ?
Stopped in at Hideaway Pizza for our first time. Loved that they had comfortable tables and chairs instead of small booths. Our waitress was Chastity and she explained the menu and took our order, very knowledgeable and efficient and professional! Our food was excellent, spaghetti and meat sauce, garlic bread and pizza. My husband had the deluxe salad and it was a very big salad with EVERYTHING on it! We enjoyed our lunch and they serve a variety of beer to go with their menu. Located on quaint Main St. in the heart of Crestview, ample parking. 5 stars!
I tried this place because I specifically wanted to get pizza in Crestview that was not from a chain. But in my opinion, the pizza here is not very good. It tastes similar to what you would get at a chain, but somehow slightly worse and significantly more expensive. The crust is thin and flavorless, the toppings were rubbery, it had too much sauce, and the cheese was very salty. Just not good flavor or quality.
Very disappointed in this place. Thought it would be a great experience for my daughter and I, however when I asked if they could put sauce on only half the pizza they told me it was not possible and they refused to do it. I planned to pay full price for only half the sauce, and the same topping all over and the cooks told me and the young waitress absolutely not able to accommodate that request. What a joke. Sweet tea tasted weeks old, straw wasn’t even long enough and would fall down into the glass. We won’t be back.
We have a large family and they were busy so a staff member approached us at the door and said "I'm sorry the manager will not seat you", then turned and walked away. I spoke with the manager and offered to split up our group and he said that we'd be all over the restaurant.1. He could have said that there is a wait and offered to start making the pizzas and if no tables were available by the time they were done, he could sent them to go2. He could have split our group as suggested.3. Sending an employee to tell a customer that you will not seat them (without explanation) is terrible customer service.
I have always loved their pizza. Personnel changes, but that great pizza taste remains the same. It's so good until when I am going to see my children, I have to freeze some to drive 8 to 9 to take them some. What can I say? We just love it.
Chastity P was awesome. She kept us informed about our meals and she kept our drinks full. She was pleasant to have as our server and the food was great. The atmosphere at Hideaway was nice and pleasant ☺️.
Five stars babeh, fill me up with good good pizzas. They have many pizza and many topping for pizza abs you can take it to go.
Not bad, not great. Salad was a bit wilted, waaaay too much sauce on the pie, and our server was indifferent to our presence. Management/owner sat at a corner table doing paperwork and then loudly ordered with an entitled attitude. Maybe if the staff were treated better they'd put more effort into making Hideaway a positive experience.
The service is great even tho they were closing in 20 minutes they still took my order pizza was delicious unlike hub city diner where I went first and before I could put my hand on the door to enter the waitress ran to the door to yell out we're closed while there were still customers seated indoors and outdoors sitting down eating but overall hideaway is one of the best on main Street.
