My college son has taken other family members to this restaurant and today it was my turn. I ordered the Bento Box lunch special and my sons ordered the beef bulgogi bowls. We were also presented with 4 bowls of Korean appetizers. I’ve seen comments about the ‘bell’. We pushed the bell for more water, the response was within 2 minutes. The food was great and the service was courteous and efficient. Definitely would recommend and will return!
This was my first time at this restaurant and the food was amazing. I tired the Korean pancakes and chicken wings and again everything was delicious. While the severs were extremely nice, they are not very attentive and some lack detail in their work. For instance, I was having dinner with a friend and we agreed to have separate tabs. One server erroneously swap our tabs. Basically I paid for my friend's meal while my friend paid for mines. One case for not being attentive, I recall a moment in which I rung the bell at our table to alert the servers, but no one did not come by despite us not being be far from hostess table. They were plenty of them standing in queue but no action was taken during that brief. Regardless of these issues, I still see myself visiting there again, but service needs to improve overall. It was only a one time thing and no one is perfect, but as customer, I expect high quality of service.
I’ve been hearing great things about this place recently so had to give it a try. I was scared the food was not going to be as good as everyone raved, but it so totally was!!! I recommend Namu 100%. We ordered their popcorn chicken as an appetizer, a pork kimchi fried rice, galbi and spicy beef bulgolgi. I can’t decide which was my favorite it was all so delicious, I really can’t wait to go back. We ordered Ramune sodas and then 2 more for the road, we especially liked seeing all the cute Korean and Japanese snacks they sell in the little market, they also sell cute accessories that were really random but we loved walking through the store, next time we’ll probably buy something from it. All in all it was a great visit, the food was fantastic and the service was great. Manuel was our server and he was super nice and friendly and also very patient with us since we took FOREVER to decide what to order, hope you give them and try and love it just as much as we did!
The Calamari was hard and overdone. The four accompaniment tray for the food was put down never explaining what anything was. The button that they have on the table for service does not bring anyone until you buzz for them several times. Not being that great with chopsticks I had to ask for a fork three times. I felt it was kind of sleazy/sneaky to have the electronic credit card payer to default to 20 percent unless you make the effort to change it. We went because of the reviews, we wanted to try it, but won’t be going back. Wondering where those reviews really came from.
My group came for lunch today. The food was out of our expectations. Everything was perfect and really tasty. The hospitality is superb, everyone was friendly and attentive. The food portion also blew us away. We did not expect the portion was that much so we over-ordered and had to takeout everything for leftover dinner, including the fried rice was still in the kitchen ?. We would take it in consideration for next visit and would expect to share dishes together because everything is huge. I’m so happy that I just found my new fav Korean restaurant in SoFlo. 10/10 recommended❤️❤️❤️
Service was great, attentive and knowledgeable. Food was very good, but chicken wings were pricey for what they were (fried chicken wings 6=$14). Delicious Mai Tai though. Check it out if you haven’t been.
Acceptable spot for Korean food. The boneless fried chicken was good, though the spicy is not very spicy at all. The seafood pancake was mediocre. The bulgogi beef was fine and the galbi was all right as well. The black bean noodle was not good. Service was a bit sloppy given that it was not busy.
Came here not expecting much and was blown away! They have a potato croquette that was beyond amazing. Get an appitizer that has a salad (the wings and dumplings came with it) the miso salad dressing is a namu creation and the best dressing I've ever tasted. I wish they bottled that. The Galbi was amazing, and the presentation was delightful. They have a button you ring to get your server's attention, I love attention to detail. I will definitely be back!
First time at this restaurant with korean / Japanese menu with their own touch. I like the fact that you don't need to look for the waiter or call him you just need to press the button and he will come to you. The food was good and the service too. I like the fact that they have ramen in their menu and the Korean bbq is delicious definitely I will come for more.
Our friends have travelled to Korea so they know what to order , we basically ordered similar . Spicy rice come with an egg on top ! Excellent . They brought seaweed salad, some other dishes I have no idea what’s it called — see pictures. We ordered a chicken dish that comes to the table on a mini habachi , still steaming , chicken, onions ,carrot slivers ,some greenery , For dessert we ordered the pancakes or donuts filled with Icing and drizzled with chocolate sauce . Pretty presentation!
