Had a very good time at the Crooked Hook. Very unassuming place in the back of a shopping center. Good seafood and good service. We started with the Conch Fritters. They were large and filled with Conch. We then each had a pasta dish. They must have a pound of pasta each and lots of seafood. We could hardly finish. Will return again in the future. :)
I'm sure other reviewers have already said it, but this little restaurant is a hidden gem. I stumbled into it while moving to town, and I adored it.Went about 3 or 4 times in that month.Family came to town, went again. This place can't be beat
Unassuming, hole in the wall (literally, Google does not direct you there correctly) but fantastic food. The chef knows how to cook fish and cook it correctly. Oysters are amazing but they don't have them every day. Go for whatever special they have that day. Wings were pretty good too. Great service. We go every week while in the area for a project.
I actually would give them a 4.5. It's a nice place that you can not see from the road on Sample. It is family run with a nice atmosphere. It gives the appeal of an open restaurant meets sports-bar type of vibe. We got both of the more expensive seafood dinners and were happy with them. Definitely worth giving it a try to decide for yourself.
Very nice place with great food and service. The conch chowder was very tasty with a nice amount of conch chunks. I had the fried combo platter which featured 2 good sized pieces of cod, 4 scallops, and 4 shrimp. For my choice of sides, I opted for the brocolli and rice. All in all a nice meal that left me wanting nothing. My lady had the clams with linguine in broth and was very happy with her meal. Try this place! You won't be disappointed.
Today we had lunch here. It's been a while since we visited this place. It's kind of a hidden gem in Coral Springs. We ordered a cheese burger and sliced rib eye sliders. My goodness they were fantastic. And, Tracy was great as well! Highly recommend checking this place out. Great food and great service and just kind of a cool place. JA
Very nice people. Husband really, really liked their smoked fish dip. The rib eye sliders were great. Good service. A bit hard to find but worth looking for.
Try the baked oysters with jalapeño, bacon, and Parmesan. They’re delicious.
Very pleasant introduction being our first time coming here. Hollered at across the parking lot . Saying, "they have a private party tonight". Then followed up by saying it was posted on Facebook. Sorry, I don't check Facebook when I want to go out and eat. I check places like Google. Definitely could of been handled in a more professional manner. Best of luck.
I am so happy that we found this place. The food was extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. Not to mention the service was amazing!! They really went out of their way to make my family feel welcome. This is truly a gem. It's a little hard to find at first but it is so worth it! We will definitely be going back! Please don't just take my word for it. Try it out for yourselves. Then tell your friends, family and anyone you know. Trust me you will want to!
