Delicious food, excellent representation of authentic Cuban cuisine.I ordered the pulled pork platter. The pork was delicious and tender. Eat it while it's hot! The sides were amazing, the sweet plantain was perfect. I had never tried tostones before and I enjoyed them. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was quite nice. I wish the best to the staff and owners of this cafe!
Mima’s Cuban Cafe is such a great spot especially when you’re craving authentic Cuban Cuisine. This is my go to meal for lunch and the pollo a la plancha is full of flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the espresso is delicious. 5/5 stars!
The kids & wife wanted Cuban so I looked up this place. Despite the horrible reviews I wanted to give it a try for myself, Big Mistake.Ordered online which turned out to be a nightmare. Pay way more than any other local spot to wait and then get excuses on why. Do yourself a favor and avoid suffering the same experience as us.(Owner should be ashamed of themselves the way they conduct business)
I have been coming here for years since opening and can attest that this is the only restaurant that never fails me, food is always fresh and made to order, staff is always making sure my order is correct when picking up and is priced right! Mimas serves amazing cuban cuisine, love the vaca frita, others do not compare to this place!! Thank you for all these years of amazing food!
I've been here multiple times and honestly it's some of the best Cuban food in South Florida. They don't have a huge menu, but what they do have, they do extremely well. My friend said it was the best media noche he'd had in years. Great for breakfast or lunch!
Best Cuban food in town (I'm Cuban, FYI). Excellent service and a very clean place. I can't recommend them enough. Ask for the mamey shake, it will blow your mind.
From food and beverages to staff, service, and atmosphere, 5 stars all around.Overall: It is very clean with cozy but roomy decor, friendly staff and quick and attentive service, and some of the freshest and tastiest (very well seasoned) food we’ve had in a while.Drink: We ordered and highly recommend the: cafe con leche, americano, guanabana milkshake, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The fruit drinks taste like the fruit was picked right off the tree before being served. The coffee is fresh, strong, and delicious.Food: 1) Mima que barato: fresh, fresh, fresh with incredibly seasoned potatoes and, 2) chicken a caballo: generous portion of chicken that was also incredibly seasoned. Both dishes also came with Cuban toast which was fluffy yet crunchy and delicious. We highly recommend both dishes!
Call if you are ordering their empanadas. To avoid the wait time. Its freshly cooked to order.
Stopped in for Lunch, and was impressed. Empanada was very good with the homade hot sauce, also had the Chicken bowl and loved it very fresh and very tasty!
Great place for brunch! The food is delicious.
