Got a to go order. The food was okay. The fries were not at all crispy, pretty soggy. Got a Buffalo chicken sandwich which came with a side of blue cheese. I’m an avid fan of blue cheese but the blue cheese was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. First of all it came warm so I had my doubts to begin with. Took one bite of the blue cheese with a fry and it legitimately tasted like vomit, definitely had to fight to keep the food down and really ruined the whole meal for me as I lost my appetite. This is the 2nd time the blue cheese tasted like this so I felt it was necessary to write a review as this is also the 2nd time I’ve had a bad experience. Do not get the blue cheese! It seems like it’s not refrigerated and it also seems that they don’t check if it has gone bad as this happened twice to me! You will gag and get sick!
I have been here a lot, mostly for take out. They are usually open late into the evening which makes it one of the few places to get good food at night. The food is usually pretty good although I have had a few times were they have been a little inconsistent. But, overall the recipes for the most part are fantastic, you would never expect supposed 'bar food' to be this good. I have yet to dine in but I plan on it in the future, it looks very inviting, clean and they have a cool bar with plenty of seating and TVs.
EDIT:I recently went into the location myself to place to quick to go order. The woman at the front was incredible and the food was perfect. . Completely made up for anything I experienced on the phone!I have had lunch here before with friends. I am a medical rep and I decided to find out pricing on catering an order for an office luncheon. There were no prices on ine, so I called to find out more pricing details. I was told I could call grub hub or delivery dudes to place the order and they would have pricing on their menu. I asked few more questions that was going nowhere. I then asked to speak with a manager. I was put on hold and asked to call back in an hour. Very strange way to treat any customer, much less one who wanted to cater an event. I was also told they do not cater, yet it says call to cater your next event.
I just picked up an order from here. Their prices are ridiculous! They charge 8.00 for a side of tater tots. We got three sandwich type meals, a side of tots and a side salad and it was 61.00!!! And they didn't even pack my salad!! The food is definitely not worth their prices. I now understand why their prices are NOT listed on their website.
Food is always delicious! Bar day shift staff during the week & on weekends is amazing. What's sad is that at 5/530 when patrons know Renee is on shift, people leave due to the poor service one gets from Renee. My friends & I have seen people leave to eat at other restaurants due to the bad service. More time is spent trying to figure out the register than serving customers....sad because with Chrissy, Maureen, Stacy, Kat, Maggie, & Kim.....Lefty's bar is our favorite place!
Today was my first time ordering from there and my absolute last time.I ordered spinach dip that came with no chipsI ordered lemon pepper wings that were over cooked and dry with little sauce on them and the stuffed artichoke was so greasy and slimy we couldn’t eat it.What appalled me even more was the way they could care less when I called. 50 dollars wasted the food was not touched. I am waiting to get off work to return all the food. Thank god delivery dudes gave me my money back. Lefty’s tavern sucks and I will never order again
We eat here several times a week. It is a comfortable place where everyone is friendly, the drinks are plentiful and the food always good. It’s our “go to place” when we want to feel at home!
Food was good. Not sure if I would go back on a Friday night after 7. Music was too loud and they should have had a sound manager because instruments were so loud you couldn't hear the vocals.
Lefty’s has become my new favorite sports bar. Great food. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is huge! The pretzel is soooo addictive. It’s big enough to share with the table and it’s served in a pizza box! Wings are meaty. Burgers are juicy. Beer is cold. Service is great. Much better option than going to one of the other chain sports bar where their chef is exclusively a microwave. Lefty’s is where it’s at!
The food is actually really good. I hate going to bars for food but if I’m in the area. The food is really good and worth it. Fish dip is my favorite.
