Excellent food and service I will visiting more often

The food is amazingly delicious! The service is kind of slow but it worth the wait.

Great food and family atmosphere

Wow! What an experience. Everything that was placed on our table was incredible. The octopus was so tender and flavorful. The Gyro was by far the best I have in in Florida. The Lamb Burger was so tasty and cooked to perfection. Will drive from Miami again just to eat at this authentically delicious establishment

Best place we found after a long time. HAlAL food and very very friendly people. Best part was the food which was so delicious and good portion. Must go there. We will be coming back again and again:) thank you for making Halal option.

The opportunity to write this review brings me much joy. Our dinner at Hellenic Republic two nights ago was as the Greeks intended a family gathering to be. The hospitality was welcoming and warm, as if you were family. The food was homemade and exquisitely crafted, with each bite full of flavor and joy; a taste of fresh food as it was intended to be. No corners are cut here. The dining is an experience to be savored and enjoyed, as if you were dining outdoors on the Mediterranean and the time you spent with your tablemates was more important than anything else. Hellenic Republic is a rare gem in the world of culinary arts because it matters as an innovator, through its' hospitality, and an oasis within a vary loud and crowded South Florida dining scene. As a fairly well traveled and self proclaimed foodie, I was looking for an outdoor dining option to host a family meal while visiting Coral Springs from out of town. I read the reviews of Hellenic Republic and spoke with Alonso, the owner, about a reservation. We had a party of 8 and he would reserve us a table outside, however he would require a deposit for a large party. I balked because I've never put down a deposit for a party of that size, but he and I talked about it and after listening to his logic, I agreed to to his request. As leery as I was, after our meal two weeks later, meeting Alonso and his incredibly talented wife Chef Nikol, knowing what I know now, I would have put down triple the deposit. At Hellenic Republic, all dining is outside in a breezy corner of the building under fans and awning. It's very tasteful and homey, much like you would have in the Greek or Italian countryside. This particular Friday night we had live music, which was very nice and not so loud you couldn't hear yourself. Of course we also had the typical South Florida evening deluge of rain and we did not get a drop of water on us during the meal. The tables are well placed so all 8 of us remained dry. Alonso was our host that evening and made sure we were well taken care of, personally seating us and taking our orders himself. We began our meal with an appetizer of hummus dip sampler, which was the pesto hummus, regular Greek style hummus, and skordalia, which is a traditional potato dip. We also ordered a side of falafel for the table. The Greek hummus was fresh and clean tasting, with a lovely hint of garlic. Clearly a traditional hummus, but very different from Israeli or other middle eastern styles, however is was delicious. The skordalia was totally innovative and complex, yet very simple and fresh, really bringing out the potato flavor but complimenting it with other seasonings. Simply wonderful. My favorite was the pesto hummus. Nikol, if you are reading this, honestly, you totally blindsided me with the pesto hummus. It was absolutely divine; a perfect combination of chickpeas, tahini, and pesto. No one flavor had dominance. I could have eaten it with a spoon on nearly every one of my favorite foods. Although I never thought I would feel lowly hummus could be elevated, the pesto hummus is perfection. My wife had the marinated chicken salad, which was gorgeous and huge, completed with large perfectly seasoned moist flavorful chicken tenders. She commented it could have been the best chicken she ever ate and after tasting it, I would say the chicken was easily in the top 5. Alonzo explained why they choose that portion of the chicken tender and how it remains moist and flavorful when they cook it. I had the Mediterranean grilled Salmon over rice, with tomato caper salsa and citrus vinaigrette. Again, absolute perfection and a huge portion. The contrasting flavors came together in such a way that when you took a bite without all the flavors mixing, I actually felt cheated. Please understand that each item on my plate when eaten alone were all very good, but when eaten together, there is an unexpected harmony to each bite. It was a remarkable experience. I also tried the avgolemono (lemon chicken orzo) soup with my meal. There are certain foods I will order i

First time I visited Hellenic we ordered the chefs board which gave you everything on the menu! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! The flavors, the house dressings, to the rice, and the pita! After every bite I couldn’t believe my taste buds. It is so delicious. Highly recommend the chicken souvlaki!!! I’ve driven past this place so many times, and so happy I finally experienced the food. Wow, just WOW….. wow. *chefs kiss* Well done.+ the staff was super cool + kind! Great vibes all around. Thank you Hellenic for existing!

Nicole, Alonso and their team are absolutely amazing. We went on Saturday night and have had a great time. You can feel your grandma or mom is cooking for you at home with love and big portions ? they are taking care of you in all the details.

Went here for lunch, and we were very satisfied. Water comes in a bottle which is cool. We started with the three dip sampler, pesto hummus, spicy hummus and tzatziki dip. Very very good! Pesto was our favorite. She had the falafel burger and I had the falafel salad. Both were super good. The falafel wasn't over cooked or over seasoned. Maybe one of the best falafels I've had.Overall, great service, good food and atmosphere.Only thing, you have to sit outside if you don't want to wear a mask which kinda sucks. Otherwise, I def recommend this place!

a friend commented on my post about this place and it couldn't be more spot on. "high quality food, low quality service". The food took forever, I had to ask the server for EVERYTHING! drinks, plates and utensils, refills, stopping him to tell our order, had to stop him to ask for a box and the check. Not once did he see if we needed anything and he ignored us most of the time (as well as another lady that came in). There were 3 tables! 3!!! Train your wait staff! The food was decent, until I came home and threw it all up.
