I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, and the total was $3.69. The credit card receipt said $4.12. I asked to speak to someone about the additional charge, and the staff and owner were very nice. When I asked about the additional charge, he said that rather than upping his prices even more, he prefers to charge customers an additional fee to use a credit card. While the bagel tasted fine, I did not like the additional charge to use a credit card. The owner claims he posted this policy on the door when you walk in, and that is what the attached picture is depicting. The food and service where fine, and yet I will not be returning to this place as long as this policy is in place. Be ready for the up-charge to use a credit card.

Really impressed. Food and service were very good, a real step up from the previous owner. Bagels are fresh, chewy on the inside and firm on the outside. My son had the patty melt and absolutely loved it!!!

I haven’t been here since before the pandemic. The food was absolutely terrible. Everything tasted bad. Even the pickles. They were mushy. The soup was not edible, the bread was stale-ish and everything just had a weird taste. Like it’s been sitting around and old. Nothing tasted fresh. The service was the only decent thing about this meal.

A little pricey, but enjoyed the bagels and the soup. Good quality lunch meat on the sandwiches for lunch. Waitstaff here was very friendly and attentive. Don't expect any bargains here, but food was of good quality, was much better than national fast food joints and casual restaurants with breakfast on the menu.

Love love love their bagels. Went everyday for a plain toasted bagel with butter . Mmmm !oh how i miss them. So hard to find a tasty plain bagel. Would recommend if ur looking for a great bagel spot !

Visiting daughters parkland home she treated me here, Floor & tables could stand more freq. Cleanup, during busy part of day. Other than that. Excellent meals and desserts & snacks & helpful service with some sit down waiting!

Service:I ordered and paid online for two bagel sandwiches for pickup via their website. Because traffic on the way was much worse than expected and it took a long time to get there, I decided to eat at the restaurant. They said that's fine, just be seated and they'll bring them out to us. I wanted to add drinks to the order at the counter and pay, but they said the server would take care of us. The standard waitstaff service was fine; however, problems started when we were issued our check. The check wasn't just for the two drinks. It included the sandwiches. I wasn't entirely surprised by this; however, I was surprised at how the waitress decided to handle it. I explained that we were a pickup order from online, and had already paid for the two sandwiches. I showed the emailed receipt on my phone as evidence of this. The waitress went to the kitchen to check and came back and said we'd called in our order and hadn't yet paid. I said, "That's not true. I just showed you my online order receipt. I'd be happy to email it to you." The waitress said that we would have to wait for the owner to come and sort it out; he had gone to take his kid to school and he's the only one with access to the online system. I said I already paid for the sandwiches and I'm happy to pay for the drinks, but I needed to get to work and can't wait for the owner; this is their problem to sort out and I don't know why I need to be inconvenienced by it. I asked her to just issue a new check for just the drinks and have the owner void the old, wrong check when he comes back. It's not like I'm trying to scam them out of two bagel sandwiches, but I that's what I felt like they were worried about with me.The waitress did issue a new check, but I heard her complaining about it to the other staff in the kitchen the entire time after this until I left. The food:The bagels themselves were low on flavor. I'd asked for one of the bagels to be regular toasted and the other lightly toasted, but both were barely toasted at all. The eggs were terrible. They were overdone and gross.Overall:This restaurant came to me by word of mouth recommendation. I've had up and down experiences from this person's recommendations, so I had set my expectations on the low side. My actual experience was far worse than my already low expectations. The food was less than mediocre and the customer experience was ridiculous.I won't be returning to or recommending it.

I went in specifically for a corned beef sandwich. They were out of corned beef. I had a bowl of matzo ball soup. The soup was tasty, the matzo ball was not hot inside. I also ordered a potato knish. I took one bite and it tasted and smelled spoiled. The waitress (Jenny) was very kind and polite and felt very bad about it. The manager, not so much.I wouldn't recommend

Very unsanitary place!!!! I was there today at 12:15 pm to order breakfast. I witnessed and recorded an employee with long nails no cloves on taking food out display and her nails are digging into food and serving it to ppl. Secondly, I witnessed an employee at the registered. She has a lot of tattoos on both her hands. Again, no gloves on digging her ears and then touch the customer bagels when they ordered. I left the place and called and Spoke to the Manager Steve and advised him that I witnessed and recorded both incidents. With all that is going on in the world today these Resturant should take more precaution to protect themselves and the customer. I will never go back to this place again!

It was fabulous I ate like a King nothing was impossible for the staff.Every thing from old time deli to delicious specials
