I had Marko taking care of us, and his service was excellent!! the food,the wine ?, desserts all ............
Usually this is one of my favorite restaurants, but today things have changed. The owner needs to really speak with an employee named Michael about how unprofessional he is. I went today to Merrick and I decided to place an order to take home for dinner. When I got there to pick up, they gave me the wrong order. I didn’t check because they seem to be rushing me for the space where I was standing and I was with my 14 yr old, my 4 yr old and my 8 month old infant. I figured they know what they are doing so everything should be in there. When I get home, it was not my order. I called and they said to come pick up my other order. I live about half hour away and it was already 8pm. I called a family member and they were right by there so I asked for her to pick up so I don’t have to take the kids in the car again. Especially my screaming baby. Charles was very nice and understanding that my aunt did not take the original food, but Michael was saying rude comments and was very inappropriate. Were they actually going to give that food to someone after I had it for over an hour? How disgusting. This man should be fired because first of all it was not my error, secondly that would not be proper food care. I am appalled and saddened that one of my favorites hires people like that.

I ordered the margarita pizza expecting a margarita pizza. Instead I got a cheese pizza that looks like it would be served at Chuck E Cheese. This pizza also gave me stomach problems that lasted into the next days. The bill for my 3 friends and I was way too high considering this place looks and feels like an Italian style Denny's.
I was there on. weekday for lunch. The food was good, not excellent. I had Fettucini Alfredo and Pollo al Carbone. Dessert was a Key Lime Pie. It was the best of the menu. Very nice selection of wines. Waiters very nice, but not well trained.
I was very upset when I was told that all they could serve me was pasta or as salad to accommodate my gluten allergy. How can a restaurant during a very quiet time at lunch not try to work with a customer to make their dining experience a pleasant one? A spoke with the manager and he was not any more helpful than the server. We will never be dining at this establishment again.
The food was exquisite. I love Merrick Park. You can go shopping and restaurants. The ambiance was enjoyable and the service was excellent. The desserts are to die for.
I'm very disappointed with the service I was provided in the restaurant. For a long time I was looking forward to try this beautiful Italian restaurant. But my expectations were not successfully meet because of the service of tonight's dinner. My friend and I shared a beautiful well done carpaccio as an appetizer, and 3 main courses ( we love going out to eat)one of them was a chicken picata, one of my favorite dishes of Italian food but unfortunately my chicken was not cooked well. I am not a person that complaints but after mentioned this issue to one of the servers to communicate with the chef and my server, apparently did nothing. My server shows up after a few minutes with my check and did not even apologize for the inconvenience.I also work in the industry in a very prestigious hotel in Miami. I know things like this could happen.But i always acknowledge the situation , I was not looking to have my dish removed from the check wich it wasnt but i am just disappointed, that ruined my dinner and my experience of ever coming back to the restaurant didn't finish my dinner and I really hope I don't get sick. I won't even recommend it to the hotel guests where I work whenever they ask for a recommendation of an Italian restaurant.. very sad and disappointed.
The food was absolutely delicious and the waitstaff was incredibly attentive. We had a lovely time! (Try the risotto frutti di mare)
