If you enjoyed Swensen's before it closed you will like The One on Sunset. The menu is very similar. I had the Nice burger which was excellent. All the food was good. Honestly I hope it sticks around for a while.
We stopped here on vacation because of the menu. The staff was excellent, Laurn and Michelle were both knowledgeable and so friendly. The burgers were some of the best we've had! The 305 and the Latin burger were seasoned so well and all the topings were well prepared. Kids menu was also tasty. My picky eaters were satisfied and shared a milkshake at the end. We hope to visit one more time before going back home. And to top it all off the prices were very reasonable.
Very good food and service. I loved that we could order from the tablet on the table. It made everything very easy. The 305 burger and guava cheese sticks were incredible. The only complaint I had was that the ice cream was mediocre. So I recommend going for the food, but skipping the ice cream.
Although I haven’t been to this restaurant yet but plan to in the very near future I am giving them 5 stars for keeping a favored landmark alive. My husband got his first job at 15 at Swensens 42 years ago as a fountaineer making milk shakes and sundaes. Needless to say he has fond memories. We would go there with our daughters to celebrate special occasions. Prior to the pandemic we stopped going because it sadly went downhill. Kuddos to the new owner for bringing it back to life. See you soon!!!
Really enjoyed our first time here! Staff was super helpful & friendly. Food was very tasty & cooked right to order. Atmosphere was fantastic & we definitely enjoyed our meal!
I wasn’t super thrilled with this restaurant, I remember it as Swansons and it hasn’t changed much on the inside with the exception of the bar where it used to be a milkshake bar. My father and I both noticed a smell walking in and we didn’t really like the tablet menu. The service was fine but we were the only ones there until a party of three came in. They equally looked confused with the tablet menu.
My second time. There are SO many items on the menu! I will definitely go back many more times to try them (all). I did indulge myself in the 305 burger. It has everything Miami has to offer. Who is counting the calories? ? They even have an ironman burger, but I guess I have to complete one to deserve it. Staff is great, courteous, fast and super friendly. Save room for desert!!!
I had my sons birthday dinner with friends and family and from the moment I called they were extremely accommodating. I am so glad I did it there. The food, drinks, floats were great. So much to pick from.They let me bring my own cake and were even nice enough to cut it for me. Elliot the manager is top notch and is always thinking of the customers satifaction. I will most definitely be coming back and will only speak great things about this place. Thank you so much for making my sons birthday so special.
I had great time eating delicious food at the one of sunset restaurant. The staff were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked. Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tasted great !!!
Great neighborhood eatery. Options for the entire family. Well priced. Awesome service. Everybody leaves happy. Lots of memories. Desserts were delicious. Guava cheese sticks yummy. Try it all.
