It’s decent, nothing to write home about. The lunch special boxes are good, but quite greasy, not so fresh.The crab I think is krab, imitation.Service was great, atmosphere is great but the food for the price is so so.
I had to make myself dinner at home after ordering from this place and receiving an incomplete order plus the tiniest yellowtail roll I’ve ever seen, seriously not even an inch big.I call the restaurant and the guy’s like “oh… uhm… I can give you the roll you didn’t receive plus an extra one just come pick it up” ? if I was gonna drive there with my kids I would have saved the delivery fees and tip. Never ordering from this place again.
I do like the food in the place and the menu is very large and varied but I do think the price is a bit high for what it is.My personal recommendation is to get a large plate and share or try one of their kitchen plate as they are bigger.Overall worth the visit but I do wish it was a little cheaper.
Always fantastic great people when ever I'm in Miami i go there @ least twice the lunch special is perfect the Dynamite is spectacular!! i always order extra ; i lived 2 blocks from here for 19 years spent many evening after work kind of made it n my satellite office LOL nothing better then eating sushi drinking plum wine after work they allowed me to organize my paperwork @ the west end of the bar while serving me exhalent way to end the day getting work in order eating great sushi spending t with great people!1 go home full happy hand the paperwork to my office manger kick back and relax life was good BTW I went to Miami to work 97 days after hurricane Andrew and stayed 19 years.
This is a $22+ “king crab” roll. This is NOT king crab. More like king KRAB. What a scam! Tastes disgusting and clearly not the real thing. Fake food and fake advertising. Also, the online menu says it’s 18.95 but in person it’s over $22. Definitely don’t recommend this place.
I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The place is cozy and the food is always great.
SURPRISINGLY OVERRATED. I went to try this place because its rating was very high and i had the worst Sashimi and sushi of my life. Tasteless, bad service, and an incredibly tasteless sushi maki. I ordered a Sakura chef selection board - it was BAD! I told them about it. No reaction :DNot recommended and I won’t go back.
Have been going there for more than 15 years! At times it can be pricy, but overall it is a fantastic restaurant. Also if you have kids, let them try the chicken it is very good.
Truly a great restaurant and even better service.Food at Sakura surpassed my expectations. I came here trying to find a new Japanese (sushi) restaurant in my area to have some more options and in my first try I think I found it.Sakura has great sushi and rolls. Well... that is all I have tried for now, but I will be coming back to try other things.Service was excellent it was friendly and it was attentive, never intrusive.Restaurant decor could definitely improve but as long as they keep food this good I don't care about restaurant appearance that much.I will be back soon for sure.
I've been meaning to try this place for the past 9 months since we moved to Coral Gables. We ordered a dragon roll, a lobster roll, cucumber roll, an avocado roll and a shrimp fied rice. All the rolls were tasteless and the lobster roll had ridiculously high amounts of lettuce. The shrimps in the rice were not deveined. It was a true disappointment considering the price. Not worth it.
