Great as always
Luca never fails! Itâs always such a delight to see the team and continue working our way through the menu. Easily our favorite spot and as usual we canât wait to return.
Everything was excellent
The dish my wife and I ordered to split was simply (home made anyway) stringy pasta and red sauce (could have been ketchup). There was not another thing in the dish and it was "ho hum" tasty. Portion was enough for us two but big eater would have been disappointed. No wine. A small strange antipasto salad ($16.) was good but full of hard croutons which seemed to kill the dish and appeared to be a filler. Extra for a piece of focaccia bread la carte for $10.00. which the four of us split a piece each. it was 4" x 6". yes this seem consistent with my overall rating. The waiter was very helpful and attentive. Next time we are perhaps going to The Cheesecake Factory where we have never been disappointed..
Absolutely loved the food and the experience; one which began when I was running 7 minutes late (fyi there's a 15 minute grace period). I called to let them know I was running late and Casey answered the phone and was extremely kind, compassionate and energetic. Upon arrival, Kara and Maya, welcomed us and wished me a happy birthday, which added a special touch. Natalie was the bees knees. She was incredible and made amazing recommendations that still has my palate buzzing. Carlos and Jose helped deliver the dishes and made sure our glasses were never empty. As for the dishes, the lamb chops were exceptional! This is the first place in Coral Gables that has topped Grazianos lamb chops (this is huge). They were exquisite and cooked perfectly (medium rare). Kara, made a suggestion to squeeze lemon over it and dip it in the green sauce. It was the perfect pairing! The Cacio e Pepe is cooked perfectly; Al dente. The only thing I would've liked is a sprinkle of salt, but otherwise it was great! The little gem salad is best Ceasar salad you've ever had! And, the pana cotta was perfect and try the biscotti with it. My wine pairing was the Cabernet Sauvignon and it started with the letter C. Enjoy!
