Was just ok. Ordered a bowl from the wall menu only to be told they didnt have that anymore. I asked if they were out and he said no they just did t make it anymore. Uh ok. Had the Laki bowl. Was nothing special. Person behind the counter kept checking his phone while making our bowls. Literally had to ask for more dressing and some pickled onions to make it decent. Won't be going back. For the price, (almost $40 for lunch) you can find way better
This was the first time me and my husband tried poke bowls and they were delicious. Everything was fresh. The staff were very friendly as well. Wish I would have taken a picture to show how beautiful the food was!
Had a Poke Bowl. The bowl overall was ok, but not great. Even worse: The rice was in a big clump. Far from the sushi-rice quality you expect from Poke - even I can do better at home..
I ordered here today following a coworkers suggestion and it wasn't good and I don't plan to do it again. A couple issues:1- Poke bowl itself is ok, tons of rice with relatively little topings.2- Prices are $1-2 higher on Uber eats than Seamless3- I requested no dressing on the bao and it was loaded with dressing. That is forgivable. The bread itself was as hard as card board. That is not. They are completely inedible.4- I tried calling the phone number for the coral gables location 5x over the course of 10 minutes and I get the "your call cannot be completed as dialed" prompt.Order something else.
Great eating spot with wide variety of items. The poke bowls were amazing but the bao also looked incredible. Be definitely going back
Laki BowlsIf you’re in Coral Gables, do not miss this spot. The freshness of each ingredient was something that really caught my attention. Portions are very good and prices are completely reasonable. If you’re lucky like we were. Marcos and Eddy might take care of you and make the experience even better. The service was beyond words. We had the Laki Bowl, maia tuna tartare, maui laki nori tako and asian cauliflower wings . The meat of the Laki bowl it’s marinated for hours and you can see it on its flavor and quality. Everything had its own touch, and I loved that even thought everything we order had different sauces, you could enjoy the flavors and not just the sauce. Top choices:- maui laki nori tako- asian cauliflower wingsLoved it, this place it’s a keeper!
Yesterday I had lunch at Laki Bowls in the Gables !! I was extremely impressed by the MOANA Bowl , it was very fresh and the sauces are amazing !! The place is extremely clean and super friendly staff !! Love this Place , It’s my new to GO Place for Lunch.. Regards , AT
Great food although I have been given smelly fish, another problem is the inconsistency on closing times. The past 3 times they have been closed early. Most recently showed up at 8:30pm (10pm closing time) and they told me I couldn’t come in due to “inventory”.
Sooo Yummyy!! My food was made very quickly, portions were generous, and everything was delicious. The staff was also very polite and prepared our food with enthusiasm. I would recommend Laki bowls to my friends and will be coming back in the future.
I was very excited to try the tostones but they are okay. Very thin almost no plantain at all.The salmon bowl was okay not the best
