We remember going to the original on Miami Beach regularly when we were younger and it wasn’t as much of a hassle to get out there. We have moved from MIA many years ago, but comeback to visit family regularly. Hearing they now had a gables location, we will happily put this back on our regular rotation when we’re here. Sandwiches with fresh ingredients doused good n their famous vinaigrette. Counter service is efficient and friendly.
Hard to get to if you're following the GPS and the staff at this location was poor compared to the experiences I've had at other locations.Updated in response to owner: it was July 6 and the poor service had nothing to do with a language barrier. Not sure why you'd assume I don't speak Spanish, but I can make my way through basic convoys and the friend I was with is Brazilian and she speaks Spanish well. The staff was just rude, didn't not want to help and yes, both of them spoke perfect English. Such a weird way to respond. I've read through several responses and you're out of order. I'm not sure if you're the manager only here or other locations but I'll find out and make a decision whether or not I'll be returning to La Sanwicherie.
My absolute favorite place for FRESH and when I say FRESH I mean real deal fresh. Veggies and Bread is top notch in taste and freshness. Cold cuts , salads , and everything in between is delicious. Amazing price even in these time of inflation. They have a secret sauce for the sandwiches that makes you want to smack your momma for the recipe. I forgot to add photos but Im sure you can find them on Google. 2 thumbs up and 100% recommended. My favorite go to sandwhich is Turkey / Salami with everything on it , no toast , with the sauce (don't forget the sauce)
The sandwich I ordered tasted off, and the ingredients did not taste fresh, especially the tuna/mayo mix which I mentioned to the server. Did not eat my full sandwich and returned the other half - the server did not seem to care or offer any remedy. Shame, but I will not be returning to that location anymore. I think the staff needs to be trained better to make better sandwiches and customer service in this location.
I am a fan of Le Sandwicherie in other locations but here, I am really disappointed. Acai bowl is terrible. I can't finished mine because is wasnt taste good, and some people of their staff, not everybody, has to take a course how to treat a client and not be rude with people. Fortunately, they have an Argentinian guy who work there, that try to help and fix it.
I’m actually a little shocked to be honest. The shift supervisor was having a pretty bad day and was yelling at a few different people in the restaurant and just raising his voice in general. When I nicely asked for a little more chicken salad on my sandwich (since there wasn’t much and I still was pretty polite) the manager went over to the fridge, pulled out a portion and then got in my face, telling me to “call the FBI” about the portion sizes and that he can’t be wrong about the portion size. He then placed it on the table and took it away, all the meanwhile just being really really mean. Bad service is one thing, but I didn’t walk into the restaurant expecting anyone to be genuinely mean to me.Update: he apologized and offered espresso which was nice of him. I understand it’s tough though the experience was uncomfortable
Delicious and very well served sandwich! I had the signature Italian and hubby got the salmon croq (but on a baguette).
Very rude and unprofessional sandwich maker. The bread wasn’t the baguette I am expecting like the French style baguette but more of a bread. The sandwich was too wet in the bottom. Une pure deception.Not telling how he was rude and yelling at the guy distributing the sandwiches who was actually very nice and didn’t stop apologizing for the way the man making sandwiches replied to my husband when he asked about the time expectation for the sandwich to be ready.
An institution. The most delicious sandwiches! Great service.
