A friend and I had a delicious lunch here as part of a day trip to the Venetian Pool, which is a short walk away. My Cubano sandwich had a delicious guava sauce for dipping. A few tables outside, friendly service. I'll be back!

We came here for breakfast and we had a fantastic experience. That avocado toast was the best!!! The staff is so friendly and accommodating that i wish i could give more than 5 stars :)
Me and my wife decided to eat here after shopping near by in Coral Gables. After what felt like close to a 40 minute wait for food we were nearly ready to leave. When the food finally did arrive it wasn't even hot but being hungry and tired of waiting we ate it anyway. The food was extremely dry and had way too much salt. Im honestly surprised by some of the positive reviews on here which makes me suspicious as to if people from the restaurant just wrote the reviews themselves. Furthermore, as someone who does eat Cuban food often many of the items as sides or used to make the meal were just everyday things off the shelf from walmart or publix. Do yourself a favor and keep walking down Giralda plaza as there are many better places to choose from.
We came here as walk ins for breakfast. Four of us - 2 adults and 2 children. The server was kind, but from the start seemed a bit frazzled. Ordered coffee and drinks and waters. Got the drinks, but had to ask multiple times for the waters. We then ordered 2 orders of avocado toast completa (1 slice of avocado toast with an egg and 2 slices of bacon atop it) - we asked for 1 of these to have the egg cooked medium over, 1 Cubans sandwich, and 1 “fantastic bowl” - rice, beans, chicken, corn onions - which we asked to NOT have onions.Unfortunately it took more than 30 minutes for the kitchen here to get our simple food out to us!!! AND, the orders weren’t correct - fantastic bowl was “okay” and was not without onions like we asked, and the eggs on one of the avocado toasts was not medium over like we had asked. The avocado toast included what tasted like Costco citrus laden guacamole. The Cubans sandwich never came with the rest of our food….apparently the kitchen had forgotten about it!! So we got it 10 min later. Are you kidding me??! Seemed like the kitchen was overwhelmed with what should be their basic job. Order very late to us and not correct with some basic modifications!The manager was incredibly apologetic when we complained and gave us a 30% discount. But we won’t return to this place and don’t recommend it.
Excellent Cuban coffee. The service is suberb. They go above and beyond to ensure you feel at home. I Highly recommend this coffee shoppe.
