We were hungry after the guitar foundation classical guitar concert at the Coral Gables museum. So we did a quick search and found the Canton Chinese restaurant was still open on a Sunday evening. It seemed quite strange that there were so few restaurants open in Coral Gables on Sunday night. After arriving at the restaurant we found that it was quite full and the staff was busy serving their clients. The food was good it came out quickly and was very tasty. I’m glad we stopped at the spot.
Regarding Canton Chinese Coconut Grove. Absolute worst food ever! I am not sure how soy sauce and 4 ounces of chopped up chicken with about 8 slices of red bell pepper constitutes Kung Pao Chicken. Paid $40 for lunch size Kung Pau and Orange chicken and both awful. Literally the worst Chinese we have ever had.
There 2 weeks age. The service was great. Super waitress. The food was disgusting. Loaded with salt and a very limited menu. We were told it was because of co9vid. Pure B.S.On a Saturday nite the place only had 2 other tables filled. We have been going there for about 20 years.The shame of it is they lost us.
Good food at reasonable prices. My duckling wasn't authentic chinese but nevertheless very tasty. Had a delicious wonton soup for starters. Very close to miracle mile in Miami.
The best food and tea ever. The honey chicken is truly amazing . Can't wait to come back and hope more people come as well.
Delicious Chinese food! I ordered for delivery and my food came quickly and nicely boxed. The delivery driver (Mario) was very kind. He called me to verify my address and let me know he was close. I got chicken noodle soup, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable lo mein, and an egg roll. Everything was excellent. The portions were very generous. I definitely recommend going here if you live in the Coral Gables area!
If you want to eat amazing Chinese food, this is the place! Their food tastes fresh. No overpowering flavors. Just the right amount of seasoning. Their egg rolls, honey chicken, and Canton steak are out of this world! Highly recommend!
This was our first time at Canton Chinese at Coral Gables, My family and I have been coming for years to the other Location in Kendall ( now it has joined Maki sushi but keeps the traditional Chinese food )We were close by and decided to try our favorite dishes at this location too.. gotta say.. that was a good call!We ordered the Shrimp fried rice and canton steak. Delicious as usual!! The portions are larger and the best .. the price!! You won’t believe it!The service is top-notch! Especially from Lily, who is simply the BEST! Looking forward to coming back!!
Disgusting. Place is rundown. Food was tasteless. Employees are nice. Definitely not coming back….
