We took a chance and went to see what this place had and we were not disappointed! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was very clean and for a place that’s serving seafood, thank heavens it did not smell of fish!! The food was done to order and we enjoyed every bite! I couldn’t get my 1 year old to stop eating the fish lol. A must stop location if you’re in Coconut Creek!
Friendly staff and clean dining area. Salmon burger was good but had a bit too much breadcrumb filler would have liked there to be more salmon inside. Would definitely go back and try other things!
Today I had Dinner at The fish join; the place is small, charming, and clean. The staff is amiable the food was ok, the dish had a lot of butter no to much flavor.
Wife and I tried "The Fish Joint" tonight. We were looking for a fresh fish place and we found it in a little cove tucked away from the traffic. Wife ordered the fish and chips and loved it. I tried a piece. It wasn't greasy at all. Fresh cos. Really good french fries. Cole slaw was fresh and their hushpuppies are DELICIOUS! I ordered the "Snapper Platter with corn on the cob and their homemade chips." The snapper was super fresh. I ordered it blackened and it was a perfect blend of tasty spices. They also give 2 hushpuppies with the platter. The home mede chips were fresh and crunchy. There is seating inside and out. Not a super big place. You order at the counter, take your number and their super friendly staff will bring your food and clean up after your finished with your meal. Perfect portion size. Staff was friendly and Brian, the owner, came around to see if everything was good. We talked for 10 minutes. Good guy. They have Coke products to drink, which I'm not big on, so I ordered a bottled iced tea. Do yourself a favor and throw a line out at this joint. You won't be disappointed in what you catch.
The best Fish & Chips I’ve had in a long time. Crispy. Flavorful. Not greasy. Clams were tender, perfectly seasoned, and melt in your mouth. Great value. We’ll be back.
Service was friendly, our food was prepared with love and speed. This is a gem in coconut creek. Our new fish crave spot. I’d highly recommend.
When I was told we were going to a place called “The Fish Joint,” located in a storefront in a strip mall, let’s just say I was underwhelmed. This is a great example of the expression don’t judge a book by its cover. Although located in west Broward, quite a ways from the ocean, this may very well be the best seafood place in all of South Florida. Exaggeration? No. I’ve eaten in the best of them and this little, out of the way eatery stands up to them all. The lobster rolls are to die for. They’re not filled with cheap fillers like so many places do, it’s simply an abundance of FRESH lobster meat, and if you ask for the warm one, it’s complimented with a savory garlic butter sauce. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Their snow crab legs are seasoned to perfection and are likewise mouth-watering.The Fish Joint’s prices are more than fair given the high quality and freshness of their ingredients. I HIGHLY recommend this place the next time you’re craving fish, any fish. They’ve made a customer for life out of me and my family. Both indoor and outdoor dining as well as take-out.
WOW! This place is fantastic! Quality of food that I would expect at a 5 star restaurant. Perfectly cooked, seasoned and fresh! Don’t miss dessert…:homemade bread pudding! Mmmm!!!
Our group of 14 had lunch at The Fish Joint (first time for all of us) yesterday. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the Fish and Chips special. My husband (who doesn't eat fish) said his burger was great. The fries are unusual and tasty. The coleslaw was just how I like it - crunchy and creamy. Even the tartar sauce was exceptional. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We will return.
Awesome food! It was all delicious even our 4 and 2 year old ate the majority of there servings, servings were massive ended up bringing home a few boxes. Service was exceptional and will definitely come back if in the area again!
